Lithuanian @johnpatter lands on Melómana Records, announcing the summer season in a big way, with the Cuatro Lados EP, an album made up of cuts that take us into a world of lush, unhinged, frenetic and lysergic sounds, where nothing seems innocent.

The theme “Yallah”, opens up a progressive piece, which invites us to explore an ambiguous and mysterious world, in which liquid and bubbly environments with many dark ideas that eagerly seek to renew the language of techno from the dark side. “Distress The Sorrow”, arpeggiated techno, with a soft and captivating luminosity, where the linearity in the development of the discourse takes on special importance, thus communicating a strange feeling of eternal dawn. In “Obsidian”, Patter has managed to refine, refine and further his musical concept, drawn up based on forceful and aggressive percussions that are modulated with grotesque and psychedelic samplers, like dictations from abyssal depths, exploring a terrain that it seems that few are already inhabiting. Jesus Pastor is a clear example of the quality we have on the iberian territory. Like many other producers, he stands out for his originality and class. Pastor or as he now likes to be called after a modification of his stage name, Pastor In Vegas, debuts on Melomana with a new work of 3 originals plus 2 remixes titled 'Data77'. Remixes by the bosses of Melomana, Gameboyz and the Mexican trio Roswell Brothers, who add their special touch of electric guitars and solos from hell.
The Good Rapaza is the original that kicks off the EP. A combination of rogue elements that are usually accompanied by slow and powerful rhythms, punchy, electro synths and a suggestive vocal. The second track, Choco & Mery starts with a penetrating arpeggio and continues with fresh beats made for dancing. Sweet trance bass touches, succulent vocals and Italian disco pressure are the main features of this second cut. The third track entitled Discoteca Inferno is featuring by Carrier Palmer and it relaxes a bit what is coming with more deep basses and its corresponding variations, a sign of identity of Pastor In Vegas.

For this 43rd release, we present the collaboration of two influential artists in the national scene. On one side, we have Calystarr, known for his releases on Nein Records and Espacio Cielo; on the other, Cannibal Coconuts, also veteran of the Espacio Cielo family. This combination results in the NEPAL EP, where deep atmospheres merge with dark disco and synthwave elements, producing two original tracks that will undoubtedly make an impact on any dance floor. Both tracks stand out for their hypnotic energy, immersive synth lines, and dark rhythms that maintain a constant tension.

The title track, "Nepal," starts with a funk-infused bassline, which gradually intertwines with hypnotic melodies and acid and cosmic arpeggios, creating an enveloping soundscape. The second track, "Synths from the Moon" delves into darker territories, featuring arpeggiated lines paired with long, sustained string chords that uphold tension throughout the entire composition.

The Murcian duo Jeff Mental, composed of Pastore and David MK, returns with a strong presence on the electronic scene with their highly anticipated EP titled TooDiscoo. These musicians, DJs, and producers, who seamlessly blend their roots in punk, rock, and pop with the sophistication of electronic music, have revolutionized the Levantine underground scene thanks to their unique and versatile style. TooDiscoo captures the essence of Jeff Mental with two original tracks that combine elements of funk, soul, and disco, resulting in a vibrant and fresh sound. Their ability to create a broad sonic universe, with Anglo-Saxon influences and a refined electronic base, has established them as an emerging reference in electronic music.

The EP doesn’t come alone but is accompanied by two remixes that take the project to the next level. The first remix, by Chilean producer JGR, renowned for his fresh and sophisticated style, reinterprets the track TooDisco with a more house-oriented approach, adding deep touches and infectious energy, perfect for the dance floor. Melomaan Records marks its 50th release with an EP that reinforces its commitment to the dancefloor and cutting-edge sound. The release is led by Díaz Tech, a Mexican producer with over 15 years of experience, known for his exploration of psychedelic, acid-infused, and raw textures. His music blends digital and analog sounds with organic elements including his own vocals creating a fusion between retro and contemporary aesthetics, drawing influences from indie dance, EBM, and techno.

In this new EP, Díaz Tech delivers two original tracks rooted in electro and EBM, characterized by a hypnotic, dark, and highly functional energy designed for the club, yet rich in sonic identity.

The release is completed by two distinctive remixes. Panka Panka contributes an acidic and raw reinterpretation that amplifies the original’s rave pulse. Meanwhile, Martín Noise and Javier Ferreira deliver a breakbeat remix with funky touches, bringing a fresh and versatile perspective to the EP.

Melómana Records is back with a new release, “Chrome Drone”, produced by Man Syndome (MAN 2.0 and Stockholm Syndrome Au). This release shows how two minds can be melted into one giving the best of the two parts.

The EP begins with the namesake track, a piece full of energy and narrative. The remix done by the producer Fernanda Arrau (Chile) adds colour to the track giving the bases of what is coming with “Zank Dronner”, where the bass mixing with a neat, poetic and magnetic percussion. Here we find a killer remix by Back from the Wave.

The result is introspective and energetic, intense and dark and take us to another dimension. Both producers, MAN 2.0 and Stockholm Syndrome Au, know how to play breaking all the rules established in this EP, overcoming all the expectative of dance music.
