The Melon Company (formerly known as Tatonka) is the funkiest, jazziest, downright sickest shit you've ever heard. Based out of Lincoln, NE, Tatonka formed in the winter of 2011 and finally settled on the current lineup a year later. Combining a vibrant horn section, classic funk guitar, tight drums and groovy slap bass Tatonka emulates the sounds of classic 70s pop-funk but with a jazzier, instrumental feel.
