to be short about it:

melonmint was started out of spite. which, in retrospect, is domi-core as hell, but not what i wanted.

i don't want to be "the person who dropped live perfume mashups before it was a thing" or be associated with jpop anymore.

i always hated the fucking name, too.

a few mixes, shows, an ep, a series of "feelings" songs and several dynamic shifts in friends and the like has lead me here, where i realized i made a mistake.

i never took melonmint seriously. i did a lot of things with this project i didnt like or want to do. 


but soon enough you will all see the opposite.



give melonmint a big ol middle finger on the way out.
