FEINSTOFF PREMIERE: Upercent - Desperta (AFFKT Remix) [SINCOPAT]

Thelema Recordings is thrilled to announce the release of "Replicants EP", the latest project from the talented DJ and producer Joaqui, hailing from Extremadura, Spain. This EP is set to make waves in the electronic music scene with its exclusive colored vinyl release. Available in a stunning mix of blue, white, and black colors, the vinyl features the mesmerizing patterns created during the pressing process, making it a unique collector's item.

Joaqui, who has music running through his veins as the son of a professional drummer, has been an influential figure in the electronic music world since 2002. His journey has seen him share the stage with both national and international heavyweights like Dj Lord (Public Enemy), Fátima Hajji, Takaaki Itoh, and Technasia, among many others. With performances at prestigious festivals like WOMAD and residencies at iconic venues across Spain, Venezuela, and the UK, Joaqui's experience is vast and varied.

The "Replicants EP" takes inspiration from the futuristic themes of "Blade Runner," with each track echoing the film's cinematic tension and atmospheric depth. Opening with "Roy Batty Cries Tears in Rain," the EP captures the emotional intensity of the film's iconic scene, driven by haunting melodies and a powerful techno rhythm. "Rachael Has to Escape" follows with an urgent and pulsating beat, reflecting the desperation of the character.

Side B introduces "Tyrell Corporation," a darker, more industrial soundscape that perfectly captures the ominous aura of the film's central corporation. The EP closes with "November 2019," a nod to the movie's setting, blending nostalgic elements with Joaqui's signature electro-techno fusion.

Joaqui's expertise as a sound engineer, coupled with his certification in Ableton Live and an extensive discography on labels like Plexic Records, FenixFire, Dark Distorted Signal and Mona Records, shines through in every detail of this EP. As a key figure in the electronic music scene, Joaqui continues to push boundaries and innovate with every release.
