With his track “Time Is Not Real,” Dutch producer Doctr resurrects the break fever of the 1980s. Driven by syncopated beats and an irresistible slapped bassline, the track clearly draws inspiration from “Street Dance,” while injecting a modern dynamic and a vocal by Belle Doron. 

Percussive breaks, subtle vocoders, and an uptempo groove give the piece an energy crafted for the dancefloor. A retro-futuristic gem that belongs on every nu-funk and electro-boogie playlist.
With "Echoes," Doctr delivers a delicate Italo disco ballad. The catchy, melodic, and luminous leads rise like memories that refuse to fade away. We're delighted to welcome back Amount, aka Nayan Soukie, to Darkroom Dubs as he returns with four subterranean throbbers that effervesce with trance-inducing lawlessness.

A Darkroom Dubs favourite who first debuted in 2013 as one-half of house-combo Soukie & Windish. Since then, he's flourished as a renowned producer, DJ, and seasoned live performer, developing a penchant for sleazy burners primed for the darkest of rooms and those hazy, sunrise-lit, after-hours moments.

This latest offering from the Berlin native, entitled Zeroton, is an essential addition to an already impressive back catalogue, with appearances on imprints such as Feines Tier, Running Back, Frank Music and his own URSL label.
