We could just sit outside 
unchain ourselves from chaotic life
get lost in the wonder of this mystical abyss
and do you ever feel alone
like you dont belong
and no one knows who you really are
we'd rather fill our eyes 
with the natural world
and the bright blue sky
and for the first time its truly beautiful

pickin clovers in the wood
who ever knew it could feel this good
to turn away from everyday life
listen to them as we say
none of this matters anyway

so we charge at life with all of our might
when the sun comes up to the end of the night
just to want to fly away

we cut through an old parking lot
to try and reconnect with what we once forgot
to a field where the grass was wild and free
chasing birds and they flew away
we had to question why were they afraid
cos aren't we all animals anyway
with our attention on the wild
my mind recalled the ghost of when i was a child
i felt the gap from the bond i was born pure with in this world
i think of how things used to be as i inhale all these recalled memories from deep within my mind
