Reinassance

I took a walk where the wild lands end, to the planty of news
I stared at clouds but they changed to smoke, neons instead of stars

But then I watched the fire, it never seemed to change
And I wonder why

I took a chance but my colleagues not, fearing scars and time
Walking downtown I found my spot and she welcomed me

And when I look at her red chicks my eyes burn with flames she feeds
Then I graced my friends for all and wrapped my arms in hers
Now I know why

I've been hungry for love sometimes, it's seems a long long time
I left my relatives to get old again as much, as much as I can

But when I watch the fireplace it never seems to change
Now I see the age come over and I'm comfortably chained

Should I ask myself... why?
