Fresh from a summer of smashing the Ibiza club circuit, Australian born star Sonny Fodera shows no signs of slowing down, as he returns with this two-track release on Defected. Taken from Fodera’s debut solo album ‘Frequently Flying’, the opening track is a new remix from Qubiko. The remix was originally part of Defected’s collaboration with Relentless Energy drink, but the track was sounding so good we thought it deserved its own release outright. Here the Italian artist lends his signature bouncing basslines and feel-good sound to the track, making it destined for the dancefloor. In comparison, Fodera’s own production sounds more stripped back, his rolling house sounds paired with the greater focus on Shannon Saunders’ stunning vocals and the melodic piano, make for a track that has both club appeal and emotional depth.
