Betrayal

Forming a dark horizon as part of the musical landscape in 1999, meltgsnow (pronounced Melting Snow) stood out in the Asian Goth-Metal scene with their dark, progressive and intense approach to metal. With their evolution emerged a unique sound - a melody infused with an aggressive dark rhythm and intense vocals.

Their 2003 debut album Insanity, released by Sonic Wave Records, sparked rave reviews and led to a successful tour in the United States. Known for their live intensity and wild antics on stage, meltgsnow garnered a faithful following in Australia, Thailand and Singapore.

Another series of tours ensued in 2002 with the band jet-setting to the US West Coast, starting in Tucson, Arizona.

In late 2009, meltgsnow finally returned to the studio in Bangkok to record their highly-anticipated album Black Penance, which was released in mid-2010 under Pulverized Records. The album’s first single Empty Sky, received airplay on Australia, Thailand and Singapore radio stations bolstered with good reviews from fans and local media.

The launch was followed by a planned six-month tour in 2010, starting at home at the Baybeats, Singapore’s biggest music festival and after two weeks of touring Australia, the band ended their successful tour being named one of the anchor bands at Australia’s largest metal festival Sonic Forge in Melbourne.

Since then, meltgsnow continued touring and promoting their brand of music in Asia.

In 2012, the band split ways with vocalist Lord Insanity and have since gone through many line-up changes.

Now, with the original line-up of year 2000 congregating and based in Bangkok, Thailand, meltgsnow has reunited and has plans to tour in 2017 and will return to the studio to record their next album.
