Melting Clouds - . a group created in 2009. The band's music is composed of significantly transformed guitars combined with electronics, supported by a live rhythm section. Drawing on the legacy of psychedelic rock of the 60s and 70s (in particular in its German incarnation - krautrock), shuffling through the abstract territories of ritual drone/ambient traditions. Melting Clouds often moves away from the riff-based style of playing and gives preference to creating a sound atmosphere as a mood.
The foundation of the group: Dmitry Levchenko – guitar, vocals, keyboards, programming. Talaychuk Ivan – keyboards, guitar, vocals, rhythm section, programming.
We try not to be limited to a certain genre or style, constantly transforming. Because the music itself goes beyond “just music”, having certain images and philosophies that are intertwined with other areas of art, one might say blurs the line by uniting all elements of the system under one Melting Clouds flag.
