MELUSIVE - a Danish progressive rock band with a sensual soundscape where there is room to indulge, whether it is in silence, noise or somewhere in between. 
The band was formed in late summer 2010 and quickly things started to happen. In March 2012 they released their debut "Grasping of a phenomenon", and since then, Melusive has performed with artists such as Kúra, Sky Architects, Shotgun Revolution and The Blue Van. The band appeared on the Jelling Music Festival 2012 as finalist in the music competition Quasar Rock, and the songs "Fly" and "RSOW" has already received airplay through the Danish radio program Jukeboxen and the English radio station Wolfman Radio. The band is busy recording their second EP, which will be released in late summer / autumn 2013 and plans to go on a mini-tour regarding to this, along with other concert activities.
The music provides a framework for the contrasts in life, where intimacy and turbulence merge at the same time. In synergy with a charismatic female vocal and with roots in the 1980s rock sound, the band has formed a theatrical expression; worn by quirky bars, aggressive parts, melodic riffs and enchanting electronic moments.
Melusive is in live context known for presenting, not just a musical experience, but to take the audience on a conceptual journey - let go and let them draw you into their universe.
