Wet Dreams/No Love Lost

Melvin Knight (1974-2006), was a prolific self produced singer and songwriter who made his living as an electrician in Baltimore before moving to Chicago in the early 2000’s to peruse his music career with fellow musician and confidant Carl Winslow. Melvin was tragically betrayed and killed by Carl in a dispute over ownership of Melvin’s masters. In the aftermath, much of Melvin’s work was thought to be lost to time, until his children discovered many of his recordings hidden in storage. His heirs (Moesha, Donavan, and Marvin), work tirelessly to release their late father’s work into the world to preserve his legacy.
