This time around, we have put together a cassette tape of works by artists from Japan and all over the world.The label is proud to announce the release of Secret Stairs vol. 2, which features the work of several up-and-coming producers including Anitta, Funktor, A/Filatov, Jaquarius, CH415, as well as Methodd, JIN-CROMNYON, lee, and Caramel Chameleon, who have all released or remixed on the label, and Yuki Tosaya,Yuki Tosaya will also participate.The acid and electro based tracks are sure to inspire you.Designed by SUNTRA, as in Vol. 1, the content is even funnier than last time, and is a wonderful addition to the collection that you will want to have in your home.

серед того, що вмирало наодинці, але так і не настало
тиша — це нойз твоєї пам'яті, який пірнає в безодню зневіри
тиша — це нойз незворотності, який руйнує вівтар стадних кумирів
тиша — це стимул не бути, забути все те, що застигло
тиша — це знову і знову все те, що загострює ігри
я можу підняти назовні всі ті вчинки двадцятилітньої давнини
я все це можу, іноді я навіть бачу їх уві сні
нічого особистого, спалах того, що не дає задоволення
лише однотипна та навмисна дія відтворення
так працює мистецтво — з бажанням дійсно померти
воно бере та витягує назовні, напевно, щось вперте
що тримається і тягне у колись здійснені речі
все відбувається так, але це лише втеча

повільно розплющую очі, дихаю спокоєм, після глибокого
день вже почався, якось не вчасно все, ну та і похую
світ їбанувся і котиться, можете змити грим з лиця
залишу слід свій в тих місцях, де і обіцяв. на розсуд творця
казати собі — закрийся. ти вже не патрон, а гільза
з надривом не вийде більше. давай на притон, не бійся
отару цікавить, насправді, що там в сусіда? скільки за стінкою?
десятиліття з екрану нас шліфували однією платівкою
я так і бачу, як в оченятах блактиний вогник іскриться
це для гімна вентилятор вічний, не для здорового українця
суто для тебе, щоб не розбити на друзки тендітну мрію
скажу, що все буде заєбісь, навіть якщо сам в це не вірю
вичавлений і розмазаний по девайсах, тече допоки струм
живий, та секунди крізь пальці, на шляху в депо, ще не прибув
приймаю за своє життя оцифроване палтежі на приват
чи то музичний філософ, чи музи вагіна? я музикант
спостереження беззмістовні, місяць у повні, нутро на зовні
кожен колись проїбав не помітивши, переписав клятви кровні

The Sundown Tapes is a summer series of mixes curated by Argo inspired by summer and the iconic legacy of José Padilla at Café Del Mar in Ibiza. Each volume brings together a musical artist who is invited to create their own version of a "sunset mix" - music for that moment when the light softens and the world slows down.

The sounds explored drift through balaeric ambience, house, electronic, rap, brazillian funk, and more -- shaped by each artist's personal response to the magic of sundown.

The first 30 minutes of the mix comes from DJ Twinkle.

Jake Slipkovich, (DJ twinkle) is a Tennessee-born, London based multi-disciplinary artist, composer, and DJ. At the core of their practice is a fascination with the ineffable, using sound as a primary medium to give volume to the silent & form to the formless. Their work is an exploration of world building through the invisible; constructing vast & sensorial realms that are unseen but felt deeply. This exploration has recently expanded beyond the auditory to including the olfactory; pairing sound & fragrance together to, in John Cages’s words, ‘tint an environment’. Currently pursuing sound as a mode of fine art at Central Saint Martins, Jake synthesizes their diverse craft & experience across music, dance, performance, and film to question how we listen and, in turn, how we experience the world around us.
