Dutch record label, shop and club platform One Eye Witness presents a lively new entry in their V/A series with WITNESS08. Honing in on more fresh talent from across the globe, Amsterdam’s wandering eye gathers producers Sinqmin, Salomee, Kate08 and elusive duo The Evil B-Side Twins (DJ Tool & Yazzus) for another trip into tech house — and beyond!

Kate08’s “Sticky Toffee” is suitably viscous, burbling and oozing its way across shifting sections. The London artist delicately balances percussion atop warbling bass tones and synth lines that pop in and out. Salomee gets moody on “Night Behaviour”; lurking in the shadows, the track’s acid squelch and interlocking melodies point to the psychedelic, with a purring bassline that keeps things grounded.

The Evil B-Side Twins lay in wait on the flip, springing into action with the tightly-wound “Spindrift”. Propelled by a spiky break and cascading delays, its 303 lines sound like rubber, bouncing between the other synths deployed by the duo. All manner of FX trickery is woven into the production: the Twins layer up and load the track with intricate details. Supplying an unexpected respite from the club action, final cut “Aesthetics For Destination” marks the debut foray into hip-hop for OEW. Produced by Seoul-based Sinqmin and featuring the sultry vocals of 문선 (MOONSUN), the track’s sparse beat and ghostly samples make for a mellow, head-nodding end to another hit from the label.

“Clubfoot” on A1 — precision disguised as ease. Gearmaster the Estonian duo deal in pressure, not excess: a thick, rolling, a bubbling acid line, and dub-warmed undertones glowing beneath the surface. Soft, delayed chords drift in and out like vapour, grounding the track in that classic dub techno haze. Reborn under a new name, they sound recalibrated and ready — gears turning, momentum building.

“The Body Radiates” is Earth Trax at his most direct. High-speed 303s coil through off-world, high-definition textures — bright yet tightly controlled. Crisp, hard percussion keeps the pressure constant, while flickering vocal chops cut through the mix with a distinctly ’90s pulse. It moves with purpose, gliding through the breaks and tunnelling toward the peak.

A Flash! — and reality folds. On B1, Olsvangèr delivers a pristine, meditative trip: razor-sharp percussion, a bassline built to unspool the mind. It’s lean, focused, and quietly hallucinatory. Proof he’s fast becoming the go-to for tripped-out house.

“Monolith” by Tifra signals a bold return - a deep, club-ready roller that hums with fizzing percussion, trippy, widescreen FX and a lead washed in echo that keeps everything in motion. It’s crisp, transportive, and unmistakably Tifra. Keep your ears open — the full EP’s on the way.

Well-known minimal-house mix series, label and vinyl-only faithful Lokomotiv has earned a reputation for its commitment to quality. With thousands of fans, countless mixes and many records, the Gadigal Land/Sydney-based project has gained an unsurprisingly loyal fanbase.

Now, @tysonbruun, founder and head of Lokomotiv, launches ‘@tanjun’, a faster-paced house label.

'Dialogue' is a cut from Tanjun's first release, an EP called ‘Future’, featuring a remix by Italian producer Christopher Ledger.

Tyson already has grand plans for the label, with two more releases already lined up for later this year featuring “rising international artists” and remixes from more established names.

Somehow it feels fitting that 1+1 equals not only 11, but also the two slabs of vinyl carrying Henry Hodson’s music here. A small inside joke, perhaps, but also a sign of how naturally this record came together: instinctive and shaped with intention. Hodson — who first appeared on Limousine Dream and later with a subtle and beautifully controlled EP via Silky Beats — continues his trajectory between deep house warmth and minimal clarity. These six tracks are drawn with the sort of fine-grained rhythmic detail that rewards attention without ever demanding it. Light-footed percussion, elegant restraint, grooves that breathe. The double 12’’ format isn’t a gimmick; it’s a commitment. Each track gets the physical space and sonic depth it needs.

From the shadowed dancefloors of Amsterdam comes mayo, the goth house queen, twisting her sound into something darker and funkier. Stripping it down, a minimalist machine of tension and release — basslines snapping, original vocals echoing into percussive shapes, and synths bending into warp zones.

It’s electronic funk at its most skeletal and seductive: lean, twisted grooves that hypnotize as much as they bombard your soul.

Equal parts underground ritual and late-night seduction, the tracks carve out a soundscape where house collapses into post-punk swagger, and funk mutates into something cold, magnetic, and utterly addictive.

'Diego Krause returns to his FORAX fold with the 8th injection of his self-releasing imprint. A strong and respected figure in Berlin and the European circuit, Krause has been pumping out weapons for over ten years and featured heavyweight EP’s with the likes of BERG Audio, Constant Sound, Mulen and Beste Modus; always true to his style and firmly a name synonymous with tech-house in the Berlin underground. Recently though, Krause has deviated away from independent labels and launched his FORAX imprint, operating as a platform to channel all of his energy into his own creative worx’ and for each EP to act as a marker in his evolution as an artist.

‘Silos (03) is a slick and stompy tech-house hammer, firm and authoritative with the bit between its teeth. It wastes no time in stamping down its presence with a fierce intro, announcing its rapturous intentions from the start with the gnarling bass waiting to be unleashed. Serrated drum-play adds to the tuff exterior of the track, whilst peculiar percs and sequences generate just the right amount of intricate mystery to the groove. Krause knows exactly how to control a dance-floor and this is kind of bomb track he’ll pull from no where to send the D-floor into a heightened frenzy of headz-down acrobatics........... Squares have been throwing intimate parties through the London underground for the last several years. For their first record, they’ve curated a VA with close affiliates to capture dark sounds that have left a mark.

On the A1 is Squares co-founder Guzman with “Tangent”, which is stripped back, ethereal and electro-tinged. A2 welcomes Terraflow with “Clip”, showcasing his excellent take on proggy trance influences and infectious rhythms. The flipside starts with Oho’s “Wicked”, a pumping, dubby techno roller. Finally, on the B2 is Roto with “Stormrider” which has hard hitting drums and a bassline full of attitude.
