kIRk's debut album “Msza Święta w Brąswaldzie” which was released last autumn, drew attention of reviewers and caused a huge increase in a number of kIRk’s listeners. However, even before “Msza” appeared the band had already been performing for a couple of years. And it had been taking place in a different kind of circumstances... At a time when kIRk functioned as a quintet and sometimes even as a sextet. At a time when singing and melody were an integral part of the composition of the group. At the time of the song. It was all about making songs “their way” – by using their own musical syntax. It was supposed to be nice and light but by no means kitschy. Understandable but deep. “Pył” is an introspection, inspecting the universe hidden under its own coat and observing reality with half closed eyes.

Rsp Inside EP Memories of a Ghost Wnętrze. Białe, wysokie, śródmiejskie. Grupka ludzi w ciemnych ciuchach tłoczy się pomiędzy dwoma grzmiącymi głośnikami. Głowy podążają za rytmem, kolana uginają się w tempie. W rogu pokoju, siedząca skrzyżnie postać porusza się nieśpiesznie. Często ledwie dostrzegalnie, elegancko, płynnie. Każdy kolejny ruch znajduje swoje odbicie w dźwięku, każdy ton odzwierciedla się w czynie. Palce przesuwają się po kilkumilimetrowym obwodzie, gdy salą wstrząsa tektoniczny zgrzyt, suwak przesuwa się o centymetry, a z membran dobywa się głęboki, organiczny puls. To on panuje nad dźwiękiem, bądź też dźwięk panuje nad nim. A stojąca w centrum dziewczyna intonuje słowa z trzymanej w ręku książki. Wers po wersie. Powoli. Z namaszczeniem. Jaka szkoda, że określenie miejskiego nomada zabrali nam wojujący o „wyższe” cele anty-państwowi aktywiści. Pasowałoby jak ulał. Nie o walkę z systemem, jego regulacjami i prawami w tym wszystkim się przecież rozchodzi. Żyjąc na zewnątrz bowiem prawdziwi nomadzi wciąż zasiedlają wnętrze. Wnętrze miasta, wnętrze państwa, wnętrze czegoś większego i starszego niż jakikolwiek porządek. Trzy litery. RSP. Płocki producent i dj, którego technoidalne poszukiwania przybierały na przestrzeni lat formę wydawnictw publikowanych przez Site czy Enypion i setów granych w krajowych klubach i mieszkaniach. Do spółki z wokalistką Eweliną Bartosik i trębaczem Olgierdem Dokalskim – oboje znani między innymi z wydawnictw zespołu kIRk – nagrał on epkę. 4 utwory i 3 remiksy (The Same, NN, dj Sako & sziwa styles), które czekały na swój czas. 7 numerów w których dubową głębię wypełnia industrialny zgrzyt, techno zwalnia do prędkości głosu, a rytm niknie w ambientowym tle.
