Recently I decided to cover "Makafushigi Adventure!" by Hiroki Takahashi, the theme from the original Dragon Ball anime series. It really is a just tongue in cheek experiment, putting together lots and lots of keyboard and bass solos and a 140 BPM beat. It's an over the top, free rein sandbox of ideas about ways to integrate jazz phrases and synths, which served as (much needed) practice on keys and bass when I was getting ready to start recording new material.
It's not necessarily too indicative of what upcoming releases will sound like, but rather a step in the creative process. I thought it would be a nice thing to share, I hope you will enjoy listening to this as much as I enjoyed making it.
