Still one of my all time favorite and unique mix's! Are you ever gonna throw your remixed version on here? That was sick af live!

"Vast" was inspired by a drive through the endless horizons of Saskatchewan. I wrote this trying to capture that specific moment when you crest a hill at sunset and the world seems to stretch on forever. 

Blending solo cello with cinematic electronic textures, this piece is an ode to the open road and the beauty of open space.

Memory Lapse is the melodic bass and future bass project of Jade Dirk, a producer from Dickinson, North Dakota. His music weaves cathartic melodies, lush harmonies, and bold, inventive sound design into tracks that feel sharp, fluid, and alive. His music drowns you in intensity. 

Jade refined his craft at Icon Collective in Los Angeles before the school closed its doors, collaborating and learning alongside some of the most innovative producers in electronic music. That experience shaped his approach to composition and sound, giving him the tools to make music that feels immediate, visceral, and unmistakably his own.

Influenced by artists like Flume, Quiet Bison, and Adventure Club, Memory Lapse transforms introspection and isolation into mini masterclasses on expressing longing, acute nostalgia, and what it means to be a human; both deeply entangled in connections and imperially alone. His tracks are simultaneously intimate and explosive, designed for both late night drives and mainstage festival systems.
