It’s been a few years since she’s jumped on the 1s and 2s for us, but we couldn’t be more excited to have Aussie dance royalty Memphis LK back on the triple j airwaves this week.

Today marks the release of her second EP of the year True Love And Its Consequences, out via Dot Dash / Remote Control Records. Across the record’s 5 tracks Memphis channels pure boisterous fun, delving into beats for the club with a pop twist.

You could certainly say that she’s had a busy year, having hit up stages at the likes of Splendour In The Grass, as well as international festivals The Great Escape UK and Pitchfork Music Fest. She also joined pop superstar Carly Rae Jepsen on tour Down Under, and will be rounding out the year at Your Paradise in Fiji!

Today on Lunch Memphis LK is taking over for an epic mix of party favourites, blending everything from Soulja Boy to Kylie Minogue with a sprinkle of breaks, electro and trance for good measure.
