I got touched by an article I read the other day about this chap that saw this girl on a plane he fell in love with at first sight and how he so regretted not to have approached her, he never knew her name. However, he could not forget about her so decided to do a “Sherlock Holmes” and was determent to find her ! Indeed a few months later, with a little help of his friends, they found this girl and believe it or not…. she felt the same and they became an item. Aaawwwhh… such a nice story ;- )
This was the spark that lit my latest song I came up with a couple of days ago. I hope you like it ! Warm regards from Anna.

Somewhere Out There

I used quite a few layers of guitar as you might hear in this song, I even used my little Höhner with nylon strings to play base ! LOL… I also used my Ibanez 6 string and my more than beloved Yamaha 12 string, all three are acoustic guitars. I created this song a couple of days ago, melody and lyrics, so yesterday I ended up recording all the tracks and I just finished the final mixing ! The lyrics are based on things happening in my life right now… I hope you like it ! Kind regards, Anna

Another one of my musical creations, the first one since my open heart surgery, I finally am getting more strength to sing again :-) So I decided it was high time to have a go in writing a little French number and here it is ! "Donne moi un signe" I must admit that I had trouble recording as the mic was playing up.. but I managed it in the end :-) I used my acoustic 12 string and my little nylon 6 string guitar and am starting to get the hang of mixing. I really hope you enjoy it.

I decided to pick a few chords at random, just like that, wrote them down and then somehow tried to make a melody with it, no idea how, but it worked :-) I then added some lyrics et voilà...here's the result. A quick "just for fun" project. I hope you enjoy it. Warm wishes, Anna

Je Te Veux

Here an acoustic trial session of a song I’m playing around with at the moment. It’s half in French and half in English for now. One day, when time allows me :-) I will add musical instruments. For now questioning myself whether to do keep this song in both languages or to sing it in just one language only. But if so, I’m not sure which one; French or English ??? Decisions, decisions… :-) Voici une compo perso d'essai acoustique je suis en train de la faire en ce moment. C'est en moitié français / moitié anglais… un jour je vais terminer cette chanson, si je trouve le temps, pour l'instant, prendre plaisir (j'espère) :-)

Looks like I'm a little bit drunk, but hey, I don't care LOL...  It's been a while since I've uploaded something, but no excuse now during lockdown time :-) I still don't have proper recording facilities  and I'm forever trying to find my way round this mixing lark ! Have you ever (As-tu déjà )

"Like a cat" is an original song I made after losing my lovely rescue cat named FatBoy. He died after a short illness that could not be cured. He died too young. It features a clip of when I just had him. Making music is a great healer. I did everything myself, these are all first take recordings. I hope you enjoy my creation and do forgive me for the bad sounds,  I am teaching myself to mix, still an absolute beginner  :-) Best wishes, MM
