The song is co-produced by x-Factory Records’ Michael Johnson who is credited by New Order as being instrumental in the creation of the thunderous bass drum from Blue Monday considered by many to be the genesis of modern dance music. 

Glider was originally recorded in 2013 and revisited at various times until completion in 2022 at Michael’s Tankfield recording studios near Liverpool, UK. 

Men in the Sky are influenced by Tangerine Dream, Pink Floyd and New Order which is reflected in the electronic/ rock crossover style of the Band.
