“Softer hands” introduces a reality where art-electronics emerge from familiar club language. Sentimental melodies spray delicate feelings over metallic, hypnotising backgrounds. Distant, angelic choirs are softly moulded and shaped by whirring mechanical sounds, hisses and swooshes. Over time, the music leads inward, letting light through densely packed soundscapes. The result is touching, otherworldly, at times uncanny or post-apocalyptic, like an ensemble of machines learning to feel. The circle of three remixers perfectly understands the language cratje operates in, adding to the universe created within four original tracks.

Product Description

This is the pre order for the Limited Edition Kniteforce Box Set. There will only be 100 of these available – first come, first serve, as always. The release date is set for 1st of November.
 Below is the list of contents that are 100% guaranteed to be in the box. I will add pictures as items come in, but I am still waiting on some of them, including the actual box and the CD artwork.
 
All the music on the CDs is totally exclusive. I plan to release Jimni’s mix as an MP3 via the usual stores in the New Year. I may release an E.P of four of the remixes next year. But the vast majority of what you get in this box is exclusive to this box!

Lastly, a few little notes about this release. It started as a small thing, just trying to get 20 remixes of tunes to commemorate the 20 year anniversary of Kniteforce. It turned into something much bigger – and certainly much more expensive to do. I was originally going to do the remixes myself, and then I started asking people I admire, and before you know it, I had some of the most amazing people in the scene remixing tracks. At that point, I thought I should do a proper CD. And that became 3 CDs, one mixed and two unmixed. And then I thought, what the hell, lets do a box set.
 
I have tried my best to make this an amazing collectors item. Everything here has been planned and worked on for the last 5 months. As usual, I have done my best to make sure everything is high quality. And as usual, I took no consideration of budget lol. I mention this only because of the price. It was originally going to be $99.00 but I went with $92 because it seems more apt – 1992 was when the label started after all…

Jimmy J & Cru-L-T - Take Me Away (Slipmatt Remix) PSK Vocal Edit

Obviously these 2 phenomenal artists deserve to be in the Hardcore Hall Of Fame on their own merit. Jimmy J, owner of the Remix Records shop and one 3rd of the Happy Hardcore trio, Triple J and Cru-L-T (DJ Luna-C), the legend, the pioneer, the master, the creator of all mankind.... but when they combined, they were immense and produced some of Hardcore's most important records. 
Their full on relentless, perfectly executed breakbeats, old skool stab patterns and uplifting pianos seriously captured that early to mid 90's feel down to a tee. They have so many great tracks and remixes under their belt.
The monumental triumph 'Take Me Away' was quite possibly one of the first hardcore tracks I ever heard and to this day, still gives me that ultimate rush. They also had an international hit with crowd favourite, 'Six Days'. The track's highly recognisable breaks and percussion give it energy throughout and the simple, yet memorable vocals take it to another level. Their remix of E'voke's Runaway just oozes class. So good that I had to play both the Original Mix and, in my opinion, the far superior '97 Remix. The duo were indeed, true masters of the 'remix' and it definitely shows on their version of DJ Demand's bouncy techno stomper, 'Dark & Light'. This could just be one of the greatest remixes ever. Complete with added Snap samples to bring us into the 'light' deep into the track. It's just a stroke of genius.
Jimmy J & Cru-L-T came up with the goods time after time and will forever be one of the greatest ever Happy Hardcore duos.

Happy Hardcore Classics 153 'Jimmy J & Cru-L-T'

Sound Corp's classic recreated on Protracker for the Amiga.  Tried to stay fairly faithful to the arrangement of the original tune but upped the tempo a bit so it fits into a kinda 1993/94 style set.  With the greatest of respect to Sound Corp for the original killer tune.
