Animalia presents the first in a series of 2 x 12” compilations… For volume one, comes Microevolutions… An homage to the label’s continued growth and evolution, a label dedicated to authentic celebrations of talented local artists. Here, Animalia returns to its roots with a release compiled by the members of Menage (plus special guests Ebbs n Flow), all compiled in the northern suburbs of Naarm (Melbourne).  The compilation showcases the various moods and facets that make up the deep yet somehow undefinable Animalia sound.  From deep techno to UK garage and everything in between, Microevolutions is an earnest reflection of the diversity of sound that makes Animalia so special.

We are sure you have heard the name Nebula being thrown around in Naarm, and for good reason. Watching them grow from strength to strength has been a treat for us to see. The Leuven based organisation nacht invites friends of the party to start their journey as a label. Something for the heads and the feet, NACHT01 contains 3 tracks that span different levels of intensity and cross different tempos, mirroring a good night out the way the crew feels it should. 


Young gun Cabasa kicks off the catalog with a cerebral and restrained track, sprinkling UK samples and delightfully foggy breaks throughout. Aalst house and electro royalty Innershades, completing the A-side, provides the sun-soaked banger you’ve been waiting to drop all year. On the B-side Dusseldorfian Dj Ungel and the Cologne based Jonathan Sümer fuse into Trancesetters Of Westphalia. They provide the V.A. closer Etherium, an odyssey clocking in at about nine minutes and traversing a handful planes of existence in the process.

Glistening electronica from Bristol-based DJ, producer and radio host Bex.

Bex made her production debut towards the end of last year, with Mantissa 002 continuing to showcase her emotions-led style - creating worlds and melodies to get lost into. With residencies on Noods and 1020 Radio, Bex also runs the Women’s Producer Group and has gigs coming up with Tim Reaper, Bluetoof, Luka Una and more. 

Marking the second release on Mantissa’s label arm, the release also includes a remix from ‘Unknown Artist’ on the final track.

After seeing how many people enjoyed working with my first sample pack, I thought it was only right to follow it up with an expansion!

Building on the existing sonic palette but with higher-grade sound design, psychedelic synth work and a ton of modulation, this pack focuses on the morphing resonant sounds that define my productions. 

I had so much fun zeroing in on creating my favourite type of sounds, and I'm so proud to share this with you! As before, expect highly usable loops that fill the mix and add a new depth and character to your work.

Pollinate Records founder Dashiell offers his first LP "This Colourful World" to the label. 

The album was recorded at his home studio in Coburg, Melbourne and features field recordings of the surrounding area. The process began at the beginning of 2020. Originally intended as an ambient album, the project morphed over the course of two years, adding and subtracting rhythms and varying tempos until coming to its conclusion, a sonic rendition of an uncertain future, equally as optimistic as it is cynical.

Dashiell - This Colourful World (Snippets)

Dashiellʼs debut LP on his own imprint Pollinate Records is set to hit the virtual
shelves this August.
Recorded from 2020 - 2022 in the Melbourne suburb of Coburg, the album
features field recordings of the artists local area and surroundings, as well as
experimental synthesis and drum patterns. Unlike his more dance floor
orientated releases on Felt Sense and Animalia, the album exposes a deeper,
more personal reflection of the artist.
Undefinable by a single genre, Dashiell explores varying styles and narratives
throughout the piece, revisiting familiar glitchy territories and exploring foreign
ambient soundscapes. The work delivers a sonic rendition of an uncertain
future, as optimistic as it is cynical.
Dashiell has just recently returned from a string of European shows with his
band Ménage, including gigs at The Breakfast Club party in Amsterdam and
Harmony Records party in Prague. With more time now to focus on his Label
Pollinate, Dashiell is determined to shine light on Melbourne based producers
and artists with more releases from the label expected this year.
The album will be released on CD and digital formats available through the
Pollinate Records Bandcamp.

Este proyecto reúne 10 pistas inéditas, creadas en diferentes etapas y nunca publicadas oficialmente. Una colección que recorre sonidos entre el tech house, el deep tech y el latin tech, mostrando distintas facetas de mi proceso creativo durante los últimos años.

Estas piezas quedaron fuera de mis lanzamientos oficiales, pero forman parte de la historia que me llevó hasta donde estoy ahora. Con este compilado cierro un ciclo y dejo atrás esta etapa sonora para centrarme en un nuevo camino, con un enfoque más definido y una visión renovada sobre mi música.

Frankfurt am Main has been on the german map of electronic dance music for arguably a handful of decades, characterized by vibrant scenes of emerging artists and DJs, and a (more often than not) industrious habit, which became notorious over the course of the 1990s. The crucial years of 1991 thru 1994, in which genres increasingly became sophisticated and attributed with regional sound signifyers, saw many protagonists getting into gear for international careers, while others ditched middle-class life perspectives for making a living with music related activities. 

'Archive – A Frankfurt Catalogue 91-94' is a selective, rather cerebral sonic cross section of Frankfurt am Main. Unlike other compilations based on cities, Archive does not claim to be representative—it is hyper-specific and curated to emphasize the emergent sound of an era, which became a topic of special interest in recent years. Experimental, bleepy acid and techno, science fiction house music with trance seeping in around the edges—the protagonists featured on this curated Compilation represent many of Frankfurt’s burgeoning scenes back then.

The tracklist might as well be read as a rhizomatic, yet partial analysis of the Frankfurt scene around that time. The first track sees two pioneers of Frankfurt’s pre house and techno tape scene, Pink Elln (aka Tobias Freund) and Atom Heart team up as Phobia, followed by a short-lived triad called Ongaku which consisted of Atom Heart and the DJ duo of Ata and Heiko MSO. Those DJs were to co-found the Delirium record store and start their own family of record labels soon after, joined by two guys hailing from close-by Darmstadt: Roman Flügel and Jörn Elling Wuttke. Roman and Jörn initially created their Alter Ego project as an outlet for releases on Harthouse; an infamous label, run by Sven Väth amongst others, which also released countless productions created by Ralf Hildenbeutel. Redeye’s and Solar Eclipse’s tracks had been released on after 6am point, a label that had once been run out of the lively and creative hub at Delirium record store. The project Sieg Über Die Sonne had been started by Tobias Freund and Martin Schopf (aka Dandy Jack) in the late 1980s, both close friends to Atom Heart, who completes this compilation with a rare house track.
