Deeply involved and connected to the club culture of their hometown for over a decade, Manchester's Mason Collective's ascent from local promoters to stars of the international scene has been nothing short of meteoric. Now delivering their DFTD debut with double track release 'A Little Affection', the trio demonstrate their club-focussed sound with a groove-laden EP soaked in dancefloor energy. Kicking off with the sultry and smooth lead track, hypnotic bleeps and chopped pads merge beneath a catchy vocal hook for a slice of club magic. 'Lost My Way' follows, where a bouncy groove wiggles along the low end, as the mesmerizing vocal and horn snippets add to the record's mystic quality.
