I first found house music while living in St. Louis in the early 1990s. 

With my best friend DJ Reecharge and good friend PJ from Midwest Avengers, I fell in love with the club and rave culture. I quickly joined up with The Letter People to work on the The Letter Parties and our club night Quazar. I worked a little with David and The Superstars of Love before moving to Tokyo, Japan in 1999. 

My first week in Tokyo, I was invited to an epic New Years party at club Code and an after hours at Velfarre, introducing me to the amazing Japanese rave culture. 

To stay involved, I began writing for Movement Magazine and XLR8R, interviewing Japanese artists like Ken Ishii, Ko Kimura, Satoshi Tomiee, and many more.
