BSC002’s debut EP from 9TRANE came shattering through with an installment of hard, stripped back UK Techno and Bass with great response from the community. Basilica now moves deeper and darker into the realms of heavy and complex percussion based dance music, with this installment, BSC003. Coming from Australia, Basilica’s newest family member - Lithe.

Lithe is quickly rising the ranks with a signature style combining complex hardware percussion rhythms creating rolling and sharp grooves layered with dark techno ambiences and spaces. 
The Not a Pessimist EP is a journey of intensity, rise and fall and journey. The pace of each track is set from the get go yet as each piece progresses you find your body moving, changing and rising and falling with each subtle element added and taken away so smoothly it hits you on a subconscious level.

Lithe’s sharp and relentless percussion work engulfs you with push and pull, energy,  space and power and, in turn, transforms the listener by hypnotically grooving through the flawless percussion, combinations and strength.

Lithe's work has gained attention and support from labels such as Early Reflex, Flodoa and Enhancer. Expect to see much more of Lithe both in Australia and worldwide.

Actual returns to Lots of Practice with a footwork inspired track that’s a powerful product of his growing musical ingenuity. Right from the start, sounds surround you, strapping you in for the skillfully tuned breaks and robust percussive build in its design. 

Actual’s ability to effortlessly elicit such strong emotions throughout the entirety of this piece leaves the listener wanting more; and that’s exactly what we’re hoping for from this rising star. 

Since the Ōtepoti/Dunedin Aotearoa/New Zealand producer first released with Lots of Practice, he’s managed to find himself on a coveted compilation from Juke Bounce Werk and his previously released EP, Teviot (with artist, cinamin) has been climbing all over the Beatport breaks charts. His tracks have been supported by Jyoty on Rinse FM, SiLVA on KCRW in Los Angeles, and he continues to impress us and those who get a chance to hear his progress. 

Actual is a name that you’re going to be hearing more and more of and we’re thrilled to be a part of his journey.
