I re-covered this today 09/22/2024 I didn't like how the other one sounded distant in the recording. I am sure I messed this one up as well.  lol

Presenting "Song of the Sea" in B minor which I have composed to  evoke a sense of mystery and depth.  I have used alchemy pad layered sounds to mimic the ocean's ebb and flow and added arpeggio, glissandi & modulation melody with the piano, piccolo flute and harp to create a rich and immersive soundscape.

     This song I wrote a few months ago while I was in Colombia visiting my wife's family and friends. It was a sad day and I was sitting there one afternoon, it was kind of a rainy day, looking up at the beautiful misty mountains with clouds surrounding them, very mysterious and picturesque with the city bustling below and just started playing this tune. I wrote the lyrics a few days later. The tears part was for my wife's dad that had passed away earlier this year. The song is very Spanish-flavored and very somber at times. The video I put together after I returned a few weeks ago and had a lot of fun producing it. I dropped an Easter Egg in on this one, I know all of you film enthusiasts out there will surely be able to find out which film I was hinting at! It's only on for a second towards the end. Check out the video for clarification. I decided to sing it myself while it was still fresh in my mind. I hope you all enjoy the song and video and join me in the Clouds for a few minutes!
