Dedicated to exploring human and non-human worlds through sound, Diane Barbé integrates multidisciplinary artistic practices, education and collaboration in her work. Trained as a field recordist and sound designer at the UdK Berlin Sound Studies M.A. program, she proposes to join music-making, listening and research together in order to explore and unpack environmental and social paradigms. She is preparing an album of field recording on the phonography label forms of minutiae, has released tapes and records with labels based in the US, Czech Republic and Germany, performed in international festivals like Nachtdigital and Q3A, and worked with experimental drummer Andrea Belfi for a month in ACUD's Amplify mentorship program. Diane is also an active member of the international feminist collective Heroines’Wave, an itinerant research and creation laboratory which saw its first iteration in Georgia in 2019, then went to Thailand in 2021 and is planning a third edition in Uzbekistan in 2022-23.

Łukasz Seliga needs little introduction to anyone even roughly following Poland’s dance and electronic underground, as his contributions – as a live performer, producer, remixer or DJ – embellished the better part of its story. Between his solo endeavours under the slg moniker, and projects such as Casiopepe or Seltron 400, he has long traversed genres and sounds, aptly and joyfully, always staying true to his distinct musical vision rather than being prompted by periodic shifts of fancy.

On Sideways, his newest EP outing for Trance-Atlantyk, Łukasz appears under his own name – Seliga – for the first time, thus restating his identity and underlining the honesty of his craft. In a time when dance music tends to be driven increasingly by nostalgia, Seliga takes but a sip, ultimately eschewing it. As a result, the music we hear is more of a direct expression of his own abiding purpose – a lived, rather than re-lived experience, an auditory utopia, sung in a language the artist is deeply anchored in, but whose expressive qualities he seeks to enhance, and not simply exploit.

Across the EP’s four tracks we are treated to impeccable, entrancing house riddims – masterfully executed, with subtle, yet meaningful nods to dub and ambient, and echoing inspirations such as The Orb, Andrew Weatherall’s remix work and the early Warp catalogue. Driving and soothing, kinetic and cordial, refreshing and utterly danceable, these four tunes succeed in conveying a unique sense of the melanphoric – and this is precisely what makes for their delicious seligability.

here's our new baby : "bedtime stories - sounds for a sweaty summer"... the idea behind this mix was to share some of the best tracks we've discovered in the past few months. as you can imagine, we weren't able to limit ourselves to new discoveries and ended up putting some old favorites into the stew.

For last 15 years of being on a music map, he played on the biggest polish festivals and also has shared scene with numerous great dj's and producers from all around the world. His music was listened tens of milions times on streaming platforms. Actually he's working on his first solo album, mostly inspired by clubs friendly sounds.
