I was born in Medfield, MA, and began playing piano when I was eight. My first real exposure to music was at The First Baptist Church of Medfield, where I always played piano and eventually joined the choir. In college I sang a cappella in the Colby Eight, was the pianist for Colby Sounds of Gospel, sang bass in Colby Chorale (toured Italy and Argentina) and conducted the 70-member choir during my senior year, took private vocal and piano lessons, and travelled to India to teach Music and English at the Gandhi Ashram School. After college I moved to Cambridge and became the pianist for People’s Baptist Church of Boston. 

Since moving to Japan I've performed with numerous musicians at a variety of venues such as Hard Rock Cafe, Club Ozone, Tsutaya O-Nest, and Super Deluxe.
