Ahead of Experiments in Dub on Sunday (20th of March), we’re happy to release a marathon set from none other than Sydney’s dub techno don Dave Stuart. A stalwart of our scene and a staunch proponent of textured and introspective sounds, Dave delivers Mantra Collective a considered mix spanning ethereal grooves and avant-garde loops. 

Owner of Sydney’s finest underground dance music record store, Something Else Records, he’s a true and recognised curator of sonic journeys both on and off the D-Floor. Having made appearances in DJ booths the world across, Dave’s experience speaks for itself – known best for melding club fodder tracks with thought provoking dancefloor killers. 

We’re excited to have our very own Whitecat go back-to-back with Dave this weekend at Club Fusion in Sydney in a showcase of all the right sounds.

For the 70th edition of the Mosaic Mix Series Andrea Cichecki offers up 100 minutes of deep and dubbed out minimalism.

Born in the Netherlands with Polish roots, Andrea has, for over two decades, performed as a DJ across Europe in renowned clubs such as Club der Visionaere, Hoppetosse, Tresor and About Blank. 

As well as releasing her own productions on labels such as Telrae and Rotate Andrea works as a music producer and audio engineer at Castle Studios outside Dresden

ANBC is a new collaborative project joining the forces of Bruno Curtis and Alex Neivel, both based in Prague. Meoko is proud to publish their first podcast, a dreamy micro-house progression which does not hold back on experimenting and drives the listener deeper with inventive melodic and harmonic integrations into steady neat beats. ANBC was born as Alex pushed Bruno into diving deeper in the studio. After a lot of after party jams and light night studios sessions they figured out that the compatibility was just there and it made sense to start a collaboration on a brand new project. Since that day they have been producing a lot of music together - in this Meoko exclusive mix you can hear a lot of their own unreleased productions, and we can only be excited considering the quality of the mix and the fact that they might be published sometime soon. Regarding their music influences in therms of style, Bruno comments “we’re very classically orientated, jazz infusion as well, experimental... So we try to bring those components into micro-house and just try to approach it in a way that what doesn’t make sense then starts to make sense”.
