UBUD009 is here and we’re super excited to welcome this massive group of talented producers to the ubiyu family.

First up Adam Collins & Lale deliver “Beat Far I”. An original cut inspired by dub samples and heavy basslines with sirens and percussions throughout the track. A definite chugger for the dance floor.

Adam Collins and Mister Ali whip up “Neptunes Android” , the second track of the EP showcasing early 00s tech house inspiration with an aggressive repetitive bassline, backed up with sharp percussions and techy blips and blops. A perfect groover for crowd control.

Rounding out the EP we welcome legend Terry Francis and Chklte each providing their own distinct takes of Beat Far I.

Camilo Gil over the past 20 years has carved his essence as an esteemed producer, DJ, and in his country Chile, a professor in charge of a school of musical culture focusing on the art of vinyl, mixing, and the history of our beloved electronic music sound. Currently, he is forming the foundations of his second vinyl label, alongside his manager at Suena Agency; Mariana, and his dear friend and vinyl lover; Mario. 

There are many factors that fuse the dynamics and creativity of living life with passion and emotion for music in the way that Camilo Gil has done, a respected musician long established globally, constantly uniting eras and musical forms into something unquestionably unique in his own original manner.

Here Camilo presents you with a musical delight of a sampler/edit, using samples which in the 90s were recorded by a Jazzy HipHop group from London named; US3, from which Camilo has created an anthem for an entirely new generation like "CANTALOOP" originally did. 

Camilo directs this work between Bleeps of minimalism, which reminds us of the golden days of M_Nus, Trapez, Force Inc, in a clear, simple and direct plane with funk samplers, in layers and pads, toying playfully between Soul - Funk - Depp and a lot of old school minimalism to once again create a unique Rework to share with the world.'

Having recently completed their “Senses” EP series which saw the resident team of producers Tod Louie, Chris Solrais, and Karl Frauhofer all having standout entries. As well as the wealth of talent they have within their team they also have a most enviable rolodex at their disposal and this produced original tracks from the likes of The Mole, Mike Shannon, Alexander Skancke, and DJ Fettburger to name but just a few. They also have the upcoming next part of their “Jacks Favourites” which has also drawn luminaries from the best of the underground.
