Introducing the longest Karma Podcast episode at this moment. 2,5 hrs of dark minimal by Ukrainian producer and DJ - @Melihron. The episode is made of bit and groove, minimal techno, deep atmospheres of drone ambient, large amount of experimental sound designs and field recordings (records of environments). "Это танцевальная форма гипнотической музыки для погружения слушателя-танцора в особое состояние сознания, в котором активный танец сосуществует с активным мысленным процессом, связанным с постоянной попыткой мозга декодировать послание, навеянное контекстом используемых семплов, обрывков фраз. Состояние, когда восприятие не может зафиксировать своё внимание на постоянно меняющихся паттернах одного и того же.

Melihron - электронный артист, саунд продюсер и диджей из Украины, проживающий в Одессе. Пишет музыку и играет live в жанрах dark miminal, minimal house, abstract minimal, experimental drone ambient. 

Выпускался на лейблах at [flat], Utro records, Implimind, Solido, microativ hub, Control Room Label. Участник дуэта Sugubo (@sugubo), техно группы Plavni в которой экспериментирует с более тяжелыми проявлениями techno, idm.

Dubsons represents a musical project on the Romanian underground scene and started making an own sound with influences from dub,techno & house .Their first vinyl release was signed at BodyParts Records in oct 2012 (Dubsons - Semi Luna / Dubsons - In Doi). After this , the duo had other releases on Project London (Dubsons - Custom EP incl. Vinyl Speed Adjust remix) & Vara Records (Dubsons - Vezuviu).
You can hear their inovative sound in mixes from djs like Rhadoo,Petre Inspirescu,Praslea,Raresh,Valentino Kanzyani,Barac etc.
2013 was deffinetly a good year for Vlad and Robert with gigs in Berlin,London,Paris,Moscow,Sankt-Petersburg,Bucharest etc.

Vlad and Robert are preparing 3 vinyl releases in the near future (2 EPs + 1 remix),  but more informations will be available soon.

Sounds sometimes take no certain shape or form. They drift through with an abstract space in time, filling in the voids that pass through.

No one fills the voids better than Cesar (Root) who has been dedicating countless hours and days to perfecting his perfect sound. One that has truly been sharing the future sound of minimal tech / micro house.

Cesar found his love of music at his early years inspired by a wide spectrum of genres and styles, Experimenting a deep back-grounded unique frequencies that forges his visions. At Fabrika, recently, he completely blew away the crowd and dance floor while getting praise from some well respected names such as Charlie and Olga Korol with his fantastic set.

He was first initiated to the electronic music, in his birthplace Gafsa, in North Africa, through the repetitive percussion of the groovy native drummers in Tunisian streets and Sahara’s desert, added with the analogue gears and racks from Detroit to Berghain, Cesar is a true believer that before appearing in Detroit during the mid 80s, Techno has been taking place in Africa since longtime, not through sophisticated electronic devices but through traditional hand made drums, native chants and other tools, his passion of creating a whole atmosphere to his vibes, creating a whole state of resonance through precise elements and sound generators to ensure the astral trip to the mood, taking influences from a wide range of music styles and genres.

The studio hasn't only been an outlet for ROOT as ad DJ and Live performer, but also as talented producer. His dynamic style glides effortlessly between the experimental and groovy four to the floor sound perspectives, continues to take him around the world leaving a touch of his magic in every booth he steps into.

ROOT (@root-cesar) is an artist that believes music has no limits to innovate, inspire and to regenerate a progressive state of motion.

With an upcoming album on bodyparts and a solo vinyl on Suolo's (@suolo) Aforisme label, ROOT is starting to really put himself out there. We hope you enjoy this exclusive only productions set with his latest masterpieces.

Kaitaro begins his story with a gentle sine wave, and immediately plunges us into a modular atmosphere. From the outset, the very dry groove and organic percussions create a contrast with the synthetic experiments which, like free electrons, twirl in the sound panorama. The congas, and the elaborate percussive rhythms are a recurring leitmotif in this minimalist fable. The notion of time is at the very heart of the performance, it seems to expand and stretch endlessly in this sphere of mental emptiness.
Suddenly, a magnificent major layer enters the dance and exalts the audience. True surprise, the divine chords do not last. However, the set remains full of melodic elements, sometimes discreet, sometimes in the foreground. One notices dub influences in the right dosage of effects, and the spontaneous appearance of delirious voices. Until the end of the live, there is an almost perfect alternation between introspective and minimalist raw moments, on the one hand, and flashes of amazement caused by a stunning sound design on the other. We revel in moments full of energy, other more dreamlike moments, dissonant jazz ghost chords, surprising stabs and well mastered robotic glitches.
In the end, the tracks follow one another with a disconcerting naturalness, and make the audience forget time as they wake up from this nebulous and fascinated experience.

[FR] Kaitaro entame son histoire avec une douce onde sinusoïdale, et nous plonge immédiatement dans une atmosphère modulaire. D’emblée, le groove très sec et les percussions organiques impriment un contraste avec les expérimentations synthétiques qui, telles des électrons libres, virevoltent dans le panorama sonore. Les congas, et les rythmes percussifs élaborés constituent un Leitmotiv récurrent dans cette fable minimaliste. La notion de temps est au cœur même de la performance, il semble se dilater et s’étirer sans fin dans cette sphère de vide mentale.
Soudain, une nappe majeure magnifique rentre dans la danse et exalte l’auditoire. Véritable surprise, les accords divins ne durent cependant pas. Toutefois, le décor demeure empreint d’éléments mélodiques, tantôt discrets, tantôt au premier plan. On remarque des influences dub dans le bon dosage des effets, et l’apparition spontanée de voix délirantes. Jusqu’à la fin du live, on assiste alors à une alternance quasi parfaite entre moments introspectifs, minimalistes et crus d’un côté, et éclairs de stupéfaction provoqués par un sound design éblouissant de l’autre. On se délecte de moments pleins d’énergie, d’autres moments plus oniriques, d’accords fantôme jazz dissonants, de stabs surprenants et de glitchs robotiques bien maitrisés.
En fin de compte, les morceaux s’enchaînent avec un naturel déconcertant, et font oublier le temps à l’auditoire qui se réveille de cette expérience à la fois nébuleux et fasciné.
