Happy International Womens Day! With just over 2 weeks to go until our 10th birthday celebrations at fabric and today being a worldwide celebration of fundamental females, what better time to introduce our latest contribution to the mix series. Number 17 lands from two of our London favourites, Mother Earth. 

Suzie & Bella have recently developed a very strong following in the capital and rightly so. Their sophisticated selection and intricate mixing can be heard throughout the recording and further demonstrates the girls celestial vision when digging records. Mother Earth represent a fantastic new era of talented females within our scene and we couldnt be happier working alongside them.

In a slight change to our scheduled program we deliver just in time for Christmas something rather special. Singularly Voigtmann and John Dimas have been major players on the underground house and techno scene for some time, with their respective labels Subsequent and Elephant Moon both doing important work for the more electro leaning end of the spectrum. They have of course joined forces with devastating effect and the result is VO1GT.M4S – a back to back that combines both artists’ deadly skills both in the studio and in the DJ booth. This combination has seen key performances from the pair in dual mode and they were teasing new joint material in their sets long before they dropped their double wax LP ‘Internal Transmission’ back in August last year on the pairs newly formed joint label Intermission Records. Having come up through the London scene, the Berlin based brotherly duo have since become a staple of the European circuit with regular outings at many of the top underground hotspots. Prolific on the production as well as the decks, the pair's signature club leaning minimal sound is often found topping charts with touted releases landing on labels such as We_r House, Moan and Heavy House Society, home to their latest standout collab EP with DeMarzo.

Hailing from Italy and now based in Ibiza, Luca Cazal has unleashed this year his new project LVCA to push a more underground sound, incorporating elements of the 90’s tech house, electro, and old school Italo sonorities, but without renouncing what is most dear to him: groove! 2020 has in fact seeing LVCA landing on labels such as Robert James' Body Movement, Anthea's Partisan, and most recently Sock It To Me (Ba Dum Tish) alongside Marlon. His very first mix features almost only unreleased solo productions from LVCA himself (spot the intruder!) plus collaborations with Sidd, Marlon, and Josh Baker and can be summed up as a hyper speed journey between 303 acid sequences, fast-paced drums, hefty bassline hits, and dreamy synths.
