Kicking off 2024 for the 9th mix in our M I N I M A L I S M series we introduce Romanian legend, Paul K. He has kindly provided us with an all own production mix. 

We find Paul K, in the realm of creativity fitting our sound and style of music. His sound can be described as mystical, introspective and profound, yet distinctly marked by his robust personality. 

Paul K finds his purpose through playing and producing music which are both intricately aligned with one seamlessly flowing into the other. As music takes on limitless shapes and forms, studio days and nights are an integral part of his routine. 

Paul has an experimental and innovative mindset, inclined to venture into unexplored territories, consistently molding and refining his distinctive sonic imprint.

MINIMALISM 009: Paul K (Own Productions Mix)

After a visit to Transylvania , we thought to explore a bit, so we went north of Romania , to the wonderful city and electronic vortex that is Cluj , with the resident of Midi club - best known for its insane Funktion One sound system and being in top 25 clubs in the world. 
Mihigh -Mihai Babii by his real name - is a music listener since '00 and he started his residency at Midi in 2007 . His music is self defined as ' dirty old school underground ' , and he shares his passion equally for minimal house and techno , in the deepest way around . 
From Sunwaves after hours on the beach , all Midi events and Sunrise's 9th anniversary , Mihigh shared the booth with Ricardo Villalobos , Arpiar , Sasha , Steve Lawler , Zip , Marco Carola and the list goes on . 
We will be back in January with something fresh for you , until then , enjoy the ride !
