London-based duo B.O.T (@bot-sounds) ( (Dan Calabrese & Khayal Khan) invite you on a transcendent journey with their latest EP Flow Riders, out now on the celebrated Magician On Duty label. Anchored in indie‑dance energy and unbound by genre, this four‑track offering embodies the duo’s ethos of ritual‑like performance: immersive, eclectic, and unapologetically fun.

Jim Rider’s (@jimridermusic) remix of “Yesterday’s Ghost” breathes new life into the original, delivering a lush, atmospheric journey that sits comfortably at the crossroads of organic house and melodic deep tech. From the outset, Rider crafts an immersive sonic space—anchored by warm, rolling basslines and a delicately layered percussive framework that keeps the groove hypnotic without ever overpowering the emotion of the piece.

The remix thrives on subtle evolution: textures build patiently, with ethereal pads and ghostly vocal snippets adding a haunting emotional depth that justifies the track’s title. Rider’s hallmark attention to melodic nuance is evident; arpeggiated synth motifs and shimmering FX ebb and flow in tasteful waves, lending a cinematic quality to the progression.

Where the original may have leaned toward introspection, Jim Rider’s interpretation amplifies its mystique and dancefloor potential. The production is polished and spacious, leaving just enough room for reflection amid the rhythm. It’s a track equally at home during a sunrise set in Tulum or a deeper moment on the playa.

Running and curating a label of his own makes perfect sense as the next chapter for one of the Dutch capitals most prolific artists. The label will serve as a platform for solo material by Boris, as well as collaborations with a myriad of befriended producers, vocalists and other musically likeminded spirits he has met over the years. Musically, expect the unexpected. Caught In A Bubble will be a creative outlet for sounds ranging from abstract, heady and trippy all the way to almost acoustically organic and groovy.

The first outing on the label serves as a perfect example of this ostensibly broad pallet of sounds and influences, becoming manifest in a cohesive yet surprising collection of tracks. The A-side is featuring collaborations with Amsterdam cult figure San Proper & vocalist Gretz and another with the illustrious Funky Bunch.
