With the release of the Dominatrix EP, Joolmad kicks off Stampo, a new label that brings a fresh, gritty edge to the electronic scene. Based in Braintree, Joolmad offers a debut that’s as hypnotic as it is high-energy, tapping into his signature style of distorted, club-ready beats and unusual sonic textures. The A1 track, “You&Me,” sets the stage, combining minimalistic grooves with inventive samples and a synth line that oscillates between shadowy and euphoric.

“You&Me” wastes no time diving into its rhythm, setting a hazy yet insistent tone with its stripped-back bassline that invites movement while allowing room for detail to unfold. The sampled “You&Me” vocals loop in and out, creating a hook that’s at once catchy and strangely haunting. Joolmad’s ability to work with these sparse, well-chosen elements is on full display, as he layers the track with punchy drums and elastic grooves that carry a powerful yet understated drive.

Where “You&Me” really shines is in its synth progression.
