Radu Stef, known as Dadhu, is a Romanian DJ based in London but travels around the globe to various events.  He discovered music from a young age when his father played in a rock band. He also had techno/minimal vinyl in the house and Dadhu felt a true connection with this genre.  In 2020 he took his career to the next level - sharing his podcasts and playing at underground events.  He's inspired by artists such as Priku, Arapu, Direkt, Lizz, and Mihigh. For volume II we welcome TwoNones. TwoNones (@2nones) is a curious but mythical DJ & producer coming from Slovenia. He’s also known under his main alias KINN (@kinn901). His productions aren't quite common nowadays but they've been heard all over the world from his home country to another side of the Atlantic Ocean. Those events in his life changed his perspective on music and he has begun his own podcast label under the name Mavrica. He knows how to get people hooked to his mixes and since then he's been doing it constantly throughout his years. In today's mix, TwoNones has taken a different approach by going very un-easy minimal which is slowly but surely expanding towards hot groovy elements of house and minimal with a push of breakbeats. Having described the Romanian sound as, “more specialised to frequencies and rising vibrations to create special moments.” The multi-talented DJ, A&R, label manager, artist and founder of Tzniah Records, Primărie brings his own special moment to MEOKO no 230. Having emerged from the underground scene in Romania, he became more eclectic in his style after he moved to Berlin. Renowned for his marathon sets and experimentation with sound, this is the newest mix to be released after the Forma EP, which showed off a clear, new vision, perhaps influenced by his collaboration with over 140 artists as part of his work with his own record company. Previously working with the likes of Hansel, Crocodile Soup and Vid aka Egal 3, he continues to release mixes to proudly demonstrate the continuing growth of his label and work with more up-and-coming artists. The mix itself is atmospheric at times, but has a strong kicking undercurrent. Here,Primărie translates his varying influences by playing with grooves and engaging with positive vibes, to bring smiles to those dancing the night away.
