On Common People, I enjoyed leaning into a dark, dead pan style of vocal delivery. With SexyBack, my muse called upon me to release a siren call, and I answered (which came really naturally). You first hear it in the intro and then arpeggiated throughout the track. These covers mark the first of a few Dirty Dutch volumes, all dark interpretations of classics.”
