NYC is back in the house with Cheric delivering a brand new release for Cinematique.
And that was about time. Although it already feels like the US based Cheric is part of our little Cinematique family for ages, it took him almost two years to come back with a follow up EP. Of course we've heard from him in the meanwhile with a track on our 'One Hundred' compilation and a remix which he did for Deeparture, but we're pleased with this new and fully packed EP.
Cheric's style is a fresh blend of cleverly produced progressive house and melodic techno, compelling and enchanting. This release makes no exception so expect 4 unique, beautiful tracks. Additionally, Deeparture delivers a huge remix as well to complete this massive EP.

Dear Deer Records have had an exceptional 2018 and that continues with a new EP from Steve Glass. Entitled Sirius, it features three tracks from the man himself plus remixes from Jobe, Kiko and DAF. 

Opener and title track Sirius is a spine tingling tech house tune with majestic melodies rippling over the top of succulent drums. Heavenly vocals add to the spiritual nature of the tune and it's a real winner. Jobe reworks it subtly with something even more tender with glassy piano keys. 

Leonis then has darker, more rumbling bass down low and a real sense of suspense that keeps you locked. The Kiko remix is more urgent and driving, with a late night sense of tension in the rubbery drums and broad synth strokes. 

Gliese is a more uplifting track, with pads reaching up to the heavens and happy keys bringing an icy but happy feeling to the moody drums. Last of all DAF, gets more intense, with layer upon layer or rich melody, xylophone sounds and cosmic keys. It closes out another fantastic EP from a very consistent label.

Sag & Tre is proud to present the first volume of "Freshly Picked" compilation, featuring a range of carefully picked music to kick off the New Year of 2019.
Featuring scene stalwarts signed to labels / collectives like All Day I Dream / Anjunadeep / Rebellion der Traumer / Dream Culture / Where The Heart Is + more, the compilation is set to turn a few heads, and stay in your record box for a while. The compilation also features a couple of newcomers, who compliment the entire piece offering something new, instead of deducting from the experience.
DSF is the next announced artist for this compilation. Picked up already by Gorje Hewek & Izhevski for an EP on their Shanti Radio Moscow imprint, the Greek native is receiving support from the finest names in the scene. Lee Burridge is one of these names in support of his amazing style.
This is one of the many Sag & Tre fruits off the compilation, all to be revealed before December 25th, when the compilation is up for pre-order. Artists like Powel, Jean Caillou and Ramiro Rossotti have already been announced to appear on the compilation. “Freshly Picked Vol. 1” will release on all digital stores and streaming services on Friday, January 4, 2019.
