Our next guest mix comes from Leeds based selector Tabs! 

Tabs has been playing the circuit in Yorkshire for a while, providing the soundtrack for a number of parties, including the infamous Mint Warehouse and more recently born MiNT Festival!

Next up in the Meraki Music mix series is Brighton based DJ and Producer CL:TN!

CL:TN is a mainstay within the scene in Brighton, playing a variety of club nights across the coast as well as hosting his own radio show PINNACLE, which airs every Friday evening from 20:00 - 22:00!

Originating from Cambridge , Wesz is a DJ/Producer who is making his way through the ranks of the industry, with music being signed by the likes of ‘Music Related’, ‘Domus London’ and Spanish label ‘Reverbs Records’. Wesz is also one half of duo ‘LUKU SOUNDSYSTEM’ that stems from their own brand and party LUKU. The rest of 2019 is also looking promising for Wesz with more music being released later on this year along with a busy gig schedule!

Newcomer to the scene, Owen Salt provides the sound for the next instalment in our mix series. Having played for us on a couple of occasions, most recently warming up the courtyard at our first birthday, we felt it was only right to get a mix locked down. Packed full of rolling beats, enjoy!

Next up in our mix series is local newcomer Teddy Lands. After a couple of stellar performances with us, Teddy has put together a progressive house mix, synonymous with his signature sound in the lead up to our opening 2020 showcase, presenting Butch.

In early adulthood life Ed Cook always felt an affinity with the vibe of the raves he attended and knew that feeling would eventually drive him to create his own atmospheres through his own sound and dynamic as a DJ and producer.

EdCook's sound is demonstrated by rugged basslines and ethereal atmospherics to create his sound and vibe he likes, airy and dreamy spaces for those wavey hands, married with a screwed up bassface from the rugged sub frequencies. To compliment that idea he's releasing on labels such as Blind Vision & Whoyostro.

Continuing into a new decade, through DJing and producing his vision has never been clearer. Create the atmospheres he had always been led by, the party, the people, the rave.

Chris Whittaker has been committed to the industry and continued to deliver his passion for underground music across his productions, gigs and locally hosted radio show. 
 
Building a loyal following, the Manchester based DJ / Producer most saw support from Darius Syrossian & Richy Ahmed at Cheshire’s Creamfields, playing a (collab) track with Producers and good friends PSTW.
 
For the last 6 years Chris Whittaker has developed his sound in his Manchester based studio, taking inspiration from his early passion of Hip Hop sounds and curiosity for the production of electronic music. 
 
With a backlog of gigs amongst a roster of talented DJ’s, Chris continues to distribute his music and energetic sets to a growing number of fans from around the world. With releases coming on Whoyostro, Out Of Nowhere and ACHT, Chris is ready to embark on various projects that will see him bulk up his release calendar and play to more and more dance floors around Europe.

Our latest edition of the MM series comes from Strut LDN regular, Ryan Reeves.

Based in London Ryan’s signature sound has been influenced by the likes of Michael James, Nolga and Sakro. As an aspiring DJ/Producer, his creative form incorporates blistering sub basses along with dark garage-like undertones which can be heard throughout the mix.

Of recent, Ryan has been focusing on his material and is looking to release his debut EP towards the end of 2020. Keep an eye out on Ryan’s page for more details.

Chris Whittaker continues on his journey to deliver his instinctive sound with Azaels Culture. Chris's drive and passion for the music industry is resonated throughout his productions and his abilities as a DJ.

Azaels Culture EP was born from a blend of uplifting grooves and unique styles belonging to each track. Feelin Saxy brings a step change to the EP with a celestial carefree vibe. This track sets the tone with an ambient groove with a Lofi style pad which builds up to an upbeat house chord, ultimately elevating to euphoric musical elements including a nostalgic house sax riff.
The perfect soundtrack to relaxed and chilled environments but also  a fundmental piece for a creative mix.
