Welcome back to another addition of series 3, We are not showing any signs of slowing down and in the spotlight this month we have Crabby.

I know crabby from mixing at Rough Tempo and his passion and dedication for mixing can always be heard when he is behind the controls. Crabby is passionate about the full spectrum of Drum n Bass, renowned for his versatility and adapting his sets to the crowd you can catch him normally mixing on 3-6 decks at a time. He has put something special together for his FOCUS mix by doing a 360 A - Z of DNB by the Artist name.

He’s a 6 year resident at the UK’s number one (and 7 years in a row award winning) Rough Tempo Radio where he plays a weekly show every Thursday at 9pm. His DJ CV reads like a who’s who of DnB having played at events for brands such as Ram Records, Viper Recordings, Charge Recordings, SW4 Festival, Let It Roll Festival, Innovation, Breakin Science, Definition, Jungle Mania and Pure Science, as well as performing at world renowned venues such as Fabric, Egg, Ministry of Sound, O2 Academy Brixton, Indigo O2 and Electric.

Not one to do things “traditionally”, he’s done virtual DJ events for Coca-Cola European Partners during lockdown and is the resident mixologist for the UKs leading DnB exercise brand, Fight Klub (a boxercise style class to a DnB soundtrack where the instructors use an MC style to direct the participants) where he’s responsible for crafting their monthly exercise mixes as well touring around the UK for their local classes.

In the next month you can catch catch Crabby repping Rough Tempo at Illusive Festival in Corby as well as Innovation Weekender at Pontins Camber Sands with some Fight Klub dates soon to be announced as well…
