This is a poem I wrote about going into the wrong house one drunken night going back to my then girlfriend's house(now wife) in Galway, Ireland.

Emergence is an instrumental track by Meraki (Neil Garvey). The track reflects some of the current anxieties and fears during the Covid-19 outbreak. But ultimately the track is about hope and emerging from this period - hence the title. This is reflected in the change in tone towards the last third of the track and ultimate release through the crescendo. Thank you for listening.

Surrendering is an instrumental track by Meraki (Neil Garvey). The track begins with contemplative and reflective tones but rays of hope begin to appear through the introduction of the flute and ultimate release through the use of strings. A track of hope amidst anxiety-ridden times.

Continuum is an experimental instrumental piece by Meraki (Neil Garvey). The track contains 3 distinct phases. The first phase represents darkness and Hell through the use of digital voices and an atmosphere of intensity. The second section represents coming out of the darkness into a brighter and more optimistic place. This is reflected in the guitar notes that replace the ominous beginnings. Finally the third phase, with the building climax halfway through the fourth minute represents the ascension or release from the shackles of pain and fear.

Meraki is an instrumental project. Meraki is a term which describes the act of an artist leaving a piece of their soul in their work. Through making these instrumental pieces this is what I am trying to achieve.
