"Reconstruir das Ruínas (rebuild from the ruins) is a compilation created by 25 musicians from the Lisbon underground electronic scene, including Xinobi, Vil, Dan Ghenacia, Kaspar, and many more. They are kindly donating their tracks with all proceeds being donated to União Audiovisual (uniaoaudiovisual.pt) - an association working on providing support and essential goods to artists and audiovisual professionals affected by the pandemic.

Music has the power of bringing people together and here, it plays a major role in rebuilding our future from the rubble left behind by this pandemic. We were blessed to be free to party before and we shouldn’t let the sense of nostalgia translate into despair; we should use it as a positive driving force pushing us to look forward: nothing will be the same but, if we work together, it can only get better.

The release is proudly produced by the Ruínas collective."

Megan Leo is a DJ and producer based in London,a  resident at Meraki Crew (a community based club night)and has a monthly radio show on AAJA Deptford.  Megan has been dj'ing and collecting records since 2011.  While she tries not to get too hung up on genre she tends to play a selection of techno, acid, ghetto, breaks and house with some rock influences.  More recently Megan has turned her hand to production and is focusing her time this year on writing her debut EP.

During the years 2013-15 Megan Leo was one of the co-founders and a resident at Ghetec, which hosted secret parties in hidden locations across Newcastle and brought the likes of Regal, Lo Shea and Sunil Sharpe to the city.  She would always play the late night/early morning slot (6a.m.). This mix is a bit of a bow to that.
