Mark Pashley provides you with a House single titled “Together Together”, the single comes with two mixes an Original Mix and a Radio Edit, both mixes start with a intro of drums, bass and hi-hats going into a kick drum, a vocal into brass instruments, strings, chords, a grand piano and lead vocals leading into mallets, a triangle, strings and a synthesizer then into a break of drums, bass, strings, mallets and lead vocal midway through the break and coming out of the break with a rolling drum and back into the main drums and kick drum continuing with the mallets, triangle, strings and synthesizer and into a outro of drums on the radio edit and back into strings, brass instruments, grand piano, lead vocals and chords on the Original Mix leading into a outro of drums.

With the world in Covid-19 lockdown and the events industry stopped in its tracks, artists and online media like ourselves have been left financially vulnerable and, well...pretty bored. In an effort to alleviate both, Stamp The Wax launches Isolation Therapy, an emergency compilation built from scratch at lightning speed. 

We reached out to a bunch of friends who may need a hand, and gave them three days to make a track from scratch in isolation. 27 artists rose to the challenge and within a week from our first reach outs we were ready to go with masters (s/o Adam Scrimshire) and artwork (s/o Jess Ebsworth)⁣⁣. Final s/o to Aly Gilani for helping pull it all together. 

To provide artists with financial support as quickly as possible, royalty splits have been increased and accounting periods have been reduced to fortnightly during Coronavirus restrictions. Isolation Therapy will also provides much-needed funds for STW, having been hit heavily by the collapse of the events industry and postponement of all our media partnerships. If you can afford to buy the album, even if you don't like every track, it will be a massive support for independent journalism and go a long way to help us fight through this lockdown.⁣⁣

Label boss Marco unearthed Lyon based, Brazilian born @pedro-b-2 during lockdown. Impressed by the young and talented artist's fresh perspective, he snapped him up for three tracks that bring a new and different kind of energy and elements of breaks, house, afro and baile funk that are all designed to make you dance in different and unexpected ways.

Opener 'Abre Caminhos' has tropical sounding percussion and wild jungle noises, bird calls and crashing hits all making for a steamy and shapeshifting tune unlike any other. 'Racine' then masterfully layers up scuffed and shuffling kicks with off-grid percussive rolls and ethnic vocal chants. It's a tribal tune with a humid vibe and killer old school bassline. 'Sai Sacanagem' closes out with a darker, more textured bassline and electro feel that is finished with paranoid vocals and proto-house grooves.

This is weird and wonderful music that fuses organic and synthetic sounds into brave new forms.
