Zu unserem nächsten kleinen Jubiläum, dem vierzigsten Release, haben wir wieder drei frische Tracks unseres Kontinuitätskünstlers Pltx am Start. Die EP heißt schlicht „Sounds“ und bildet einen großen Klangradius im Wirken des Wahldresdners ab.

Der titelgebende Track besticht sofort als sehr filigranes Stück, welches sich äußerst behutsam im Gewässer des eigenen Grooves vorantastet. Ein wunderbar unaufdringlicher Tune. „Warp Drive“ verkörpert wiederum eher die stürmische See. Die Melancholie bleibt, das Schiff krümmt sich durch die bedrohlich wallende Bassline und die techigen Drums aber wesentlich spitzwinkliger im offenen Meer. „Deep End“ ist das breakigste der drei Tracks und navigiert das Stück durch sein an Drumfunk erinnerndes Sounddesign weg von der geradlinigen Wasserstraße.

01. Encrypted -  A funk and tech infused roller that has already been ripping up clubs and festival tents alike. Crisp drums, groovy basses and techy percussion fuse together to create a perfect representation of the Ajax flavour.

02. Alien Technology (ft. Nuology) - Two original members of Noxious come together to fuse their techy and deep, minimal styles to create 4 and a half minutes of perfect juxtaposition. Warm rolling basslines combine with snappy shuffles and breaks to showcase the respective flavours of two quality artists

They show us their most personal side of their sound on 6 original tracks in which they lie on the deep and dark side of dnb spectrum but blends in different subgeneres. Deep fusion at it bests!

Spliff immediatly sets off with a resonant all-telling punch. As the intro builds an impactful kick joins the gang, laying out the expectations percussion wise and telling us that this is going to be a real stepper.
The vibe becomes more clear as multiple vocals come into play suggesting clear southern rastafiri origin. This all comes to a peak when a mid range bassline makes you want to drop your bevvy. YAH MAN!
Diving into an ocean filled with african influenced mantras, basslines and perfectly suited drums; the battle goes on. When the switch hits, the tune intensifies and throws you off into a further stage of hypnosis.
