J. Kong is back on In:flux Audio for his third EP in as many years and here he continues to develop the minimal sound showcased on his remix of Dunman's 'Isolation' back in March. Sweeping synth lines and sparse drum patterns combine with those grime influences and J. Kong's signature sampling to great effect across both original tracks.

In the remix department we have two roster stalwarts rolling through to put their spin on lead track 'First'. Aztek goes for a sub heavy roller with crisp synth work and lovely deep drums, while Fork and Knife puts his melting pot production prowess to good work in creating a dubstep remix that feels oh so Fork and Knife with that wicked scattered percussion and those grimey feels.

As always we are always super keen to make sure we are pushing the sounds of our city here at Southpoint, which is why we are super excited to welcome back El Laurie, a rapidly rising 140BPM producer whose sound sits as a perfect bridge between dubstep and grime. His brand new single 'Inch' is a perfect example of that hybrid, forging together dungeon-style bass designs with pulsey drum punches and constantly evolving rhythms to create something any 140 DJ would see as a secret weapon.
