mercyTechno - 25.NOV AGAINST VIOLENCES AGAINST FLINTA+

Sara Delirio, DJ, producer and designer from the city of Medellín, based in Bogotá, Colombia, began her djing project in 2019 under the AK of Dark Affects, whose sounds were quite melodic, commercial and could include hard techno and hard trance. In the search to align itself more with the productions made as Sara Delirio, SARA was born, which has an extensive library of Techno Raw, hypnotic melodies, percussions that are protagonists, forceful basses and records that fill the track with groove.

During the last few years, SARA is a project that has managed to position itself as a recognized artist within the country's electronic scene. She is present in different renowned clubs such as Salón Amador, Radio Berlin, MUTE, Sonorama, One Carnival, Ministry Club, among others; at festivals such as Baum Park, BAUM Fest, Electrip Trip, Ritvales; and with presence in countries like Panama.

mercyTechno - Strathy " Hamburg "

Lili aka lil.lili is a musician and soundartist from northern Germany. In her youth, she spent every weekend at techno parties until she became a mum and it had to stop for now. However,
she didn't want to give up electronic music and when she came across modular synthesizers three years ago, she was immediately in love! She used every spare minute to learn all about synthesizers and build up her own setup. 
Summer23 she played her first live shows at art exhibitions, parties and festivals.
Playful melodies, weird sounds and creaky basses - 90 to 145bpm. Even though her selfcomposed sets are very planned and practiced for hours, coincidence is always taken into
account, as her modular system generates sounds sometimes more, sometimes less independent according to the patch used and leaves space for improvisation at almost any
time.
Besides making music, she wants to introduce other FLINTAs to the world of synthesizers and take away their fear of the "dreaded" technology.

MAUER’s dedication to the turntables was ignited during an inaugural pilgrimage to the legendary Berghain. With each set he spins, one can hear echoes of Berlin’s electrifying club culture—a fusion of entrancing hypnotic rhythms and the exotic pulse of ethnic percussion. His artistic evolution continues unbounded, as he boldly experiments across the musical spectrum, recently venturing into live act performances.
MAUER’s sonic explorations have resonated through the walls of preeminent venues, from Ava in Berlin to Crossclub in Prague, as well as Warsaw’s celebrated spots Jasna 1 and Smolna. The energy of his sets has amplified the atmosphere at festivals, alongside a host of local gigs.

Beginning of Techno for fr.JPLA:
ich war 20 als ich anfing mich für elektronische musik zu
interessieren. meine musikalische früherziehung bestand darin
"professionell" blockflöte zu spielen, aber danach kam lange zeit
nichts. ich hab auch das ein oder andere tape aufgenommen, aber eher aus technischem interesse. als ich alt genug war fuhr ich ab und an mit meinen freundi*innen in die großraumdisco der nächst größeren stadt oder habe sie immer mal wieder auf partys gefahren. während die anderen zu monika kruse tanzten fand ich mich auf dem schranzfloor wieder. aber da konnte ich die materie, was techno für mich mal bedeuten wird noch nicht erfassen.
mit 24 catchte mich homo-elektrik, ein party-kollektiv aus leipzig,
und meine damalige freundin animierte mich zum auflegen. ich kaufte mir zwei techniks mk2, die habe ich heute noch, bekam den gemini technomaster geschenkt und ersteigerte mir ein vinylpaket mit platten im 4/4 takt.
ich habe meinen stil und verständnis von techno seit dem stetig
weiterentwickelt. techno hat unzählige facetten, sodass ich mich
dafür entschied dem genre treu zu bleiben. ich kann nur techno, 4 to the floor, macht mich sehr zufrieden, ganz besonders wenn der mix von zwei platten anfängt zu grooven.
ps.: vermixen gehört manchmal zum handwerk dazu!


I was 20 when I started to be interested in electronic music. My early musical education consisted of playing the recorder "professionally", but after that nothing happened for a long time. I also recorded one or two tapes, but more out of technical interest. When I was old enough, I occasionally went to the big disco in the next big city with my friends or drove them to parties. While the others were dancing to Monika Kruse, I found myself on the Schranzfloor. But I couldn't yet grasp the subject of what techno would mean to me. At 24, I was caught by Homo-Elektrik, a party collective from Leipzig, and my girlfriend at the time encouraged me to start DJing. I bought two Techniks MK2s, which I still have today, was given the Gemini Technomaster as a gift and bought a vinyl package with records in 4/4 time.
I have been constantly developing my style and understanding of techno since then. Techno has countless facets, so I decided to stay true to the genre. I only know techno, 4 to the floor, makes me very happy, especially when the mix of two records starts to groove.
P.S.: mixing is sometimes part of the craft!

Growing up in the 90s rave scene, he was swept up in the sounds of Techno and Happy Hardcore and started collecting vinyl to experiment with on his first pair of turntables. He began exploring genres from electro to minimal, electroclash to EBM, but eventually found his true love in the dark and experimental soundscapes of Techno. 

He started DJing in the early 2000s at different clubs and shows across the United States. Playing mesmerizing, pulse-pounding beats that would later come to define his sound. 

In 2013, James moved to Berlin to deepen his passion for electronic music. He started throwing parties and DJing regularly at clubs like Wilde Renate, Griessmuehle, and Kit Kat Club.  James' sound is often enigmatic and boundary-pushing. He aims to connect his audience to the sacred through his music. James sessions are a ritual that transcends language and cultural barriers. 

In 2016, with an unwavering commitment to the underground scene, James decided to merge his passion for the mystical and Techno by launching a record label called Occultists. The label aims to showcase emerging artists who create a unique blend of electronic music, Post-Punk, and Dark Wave. The essence of this project was to create a label that was a doorway for the arcane and the mystical into the Techno scene.

With a vision to craft a sonic landscape tailored for witches and esoteric forces. Occultists was created to bring ethereal music to the ravers and make them dance in a transcendental realm.

Occultists' roster (Lucia Luna, Mystic Future, Dugong, Skin, and many more..) is a blend of genre-defying artists.

The essence of Occultists is a wide range of musical styles that are characterized as dark and ethereal, with sounds that evoke melancholy and beauty created through icy synthesizers, harmonic riffs, and fast tempos.

In parallel, James' spirit remains rooted in the underground scene. In 2022, he released “Dark Sacrament” an EP on Coincidence Recordings after that in 2023, he released a new EP called “Night Child”. His style of music often features spellbinding basslines and atmospheric synths, which creates a vibe that gets you fully immersed in the sound.  Through his journey as an artist, James was very inspired by horror movies in his music production. It evokes in him ways to push boundaries and connect with the unknown.

Today James is known for his captivating performances that blur the lines between music, art, and ritual. His art is a contrast of elements such as light and darkness, feminine and masculine, soft and hard. This interplay of opposites creates a perfect harmony in his creative expression.

James' music combines haunting melodies, pulsating beats, and obsessive snare drums. His dark and hypnotic soundscapes have solidified his reputation as a master of the Unconventional Avant-garde Electronic genre.

Bio:

Tina von Kugler, Italian- born, Berlin-based DJ, has been immersed in the techno scene since her move to the German capital in 2016. Co-founding the collective Klub Ostkreuz (KOX) in 2017, Tina has been instrumental in shaping Berlin's underground culture by organizing parties, (illegal) raves, and art events, and curating a community radio show at THF Radio. Despite her deep involvement in the music scene, her journey as a DJ began just two years ago. Since then, she has already made waves across Europe and South America, blending fast, groovy, and bouncy techno with percussion-drive rhythms and acid and trancy vibes. 

In November 2023, Tina embarked on a solo travel backpacking adventure to Colombia and Perú, where her infectious energy and magnetic presence found a warm reception. From Bogotá's Antisistema to Lima's Error Klub, Tina's performances electrified audiences in clubs and brought her to renowned festivals such as Free Connection and Locombia on the Colombian Caribbean coast. In July 2024 she returned to Berlin with an exciting agenda, including her first festival performance in Germany at Kallisto and her club debut in Berlin at Prisma/Kit Kat. 

Tina offers versatile and captivating sets, inspired by her travels and the communities she encounters around the globe. As her journey continues to unfold and she is now starting to produce her first beats, one thing is clear: her passion for music knows no bounds or borders.

Oliver Marquardt
(DJ Jauche / Jack Flash / Robin Masters Orchestra / Machomovers / Rockford Inc. / Charm / The Faction)
Born in East Berlin, Oliver Marquardt was first inspired to become a DJ when the 1984 Break Dance Film "Beat Street" permeated the city's isolated music scene. Equally influential was the dance music he listened to broadcasted from West Berlin radio.
After closely following these new music styles - hip hop, acid house etc - Oliver bought his own pair of turntables in 1989.
This was right after the Berlin wall came down, providing fertile soil for the city's new underground music scene to take roots and by the following year Oliver was organizing his own techno parties.
Although his illegal warehouse parties (complete with 50k watt laser lights) were noteworthy in themselves, Oliver forged ahead as one of the first german DJs to establish a nationwide presence. DJ Jauche, as he is known, began a residency at Berlin's legendary „Walfisch“ Club. Also he played regularly at many other Berlin Underground Clubs. By the mid 90's he had presented his unique style throughout Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Italy, Spain, Greece, Russia, Hungary and Malaysia, on top of countless clubs and events in his homeland.
Also mid 90's (1995 exactly) he had started his party "Jauchomatic" ( where he brought his brother Sven Marquardt into the club scene and gave him his first job as a "selector/doorkeeper" . Today Sven is famous for his work as an Artist and Photographer and of course as the " Iron Man" selector of Ostgut and now Berghain Club. ) and also the „Jet Stream Club“ and later the „Night Dimensions“ Party - Series.
Oliver still does his party „ Jauchomatic“ once a year in Berlin.
He plays music from 1988 until 1995, from house over techno to some Oldschool Trance Tracks, Acid and Breakbeats.
While the rest of the world still has been associating Germany with its stark techno output, DJ Jauche nurtured a parallel space for deep house sounds to evolve.
In 1998 he launched Jetstream, a small-scale record label of his own. For the 1999 edition of the annual summer festival Loveparade, Oliver prepared under the name Jack Flash a re-edit of the disco classic "Love is in the Air" and pressed 500 white label copies. When the track became an underground hit, he approached the production team Milk & Sugar (who were running a label under the same name) for advice on giving it a bigger release. Without Oliver's knowledge and with a bigger budget they appointed the track's original singer John Paul Young to record new vocals for their own version of the track and received a worldwide major label re-release in 2001, accompanied by a music video. Darren Abela, who plays under the alias of Echofaze, is a Maltese DJ and producer who has been DJing in clubs in Malta and Berlin for over 20 years. Dancing to every tune he plays, his physical presence behind the decks is unique. A pioneer in the local scene, his love for Techno, Groove and Hardgroove have seen him signed up as a resident at one of southern Europe's most prestigious Techno festivals, Glitch. He's also graced the decks in some of the most infamous clubs in Berlin, including Tresor and RSO. Echofaze also excels as a producer, mainly releasing hardgroove titles that have been becoming ever more popular with his peers. He's currently releasing titles on many major labels, including Subsist, Kusiya and Xelima.

Music is a universal language, and this set is my contribution to amplify voices, spark reflection, and inspire action.

I feel like it’s hard to talk to hatred and at the moment it seems that peacefulness is further away from us than most have ever felt. Women have been battling against cruelties for far too long and usually the solution eludes us senseless. So I try to take satisfaction in approaching complex problems in a painless way and shouldn’t we all be dancing and kissing until we run out of one or the other. For me It’s never to late for a new world on an old earth and in that manner I wanna finish with some words of solace inspired by the lovely Candi Staton.

Kanda started out playing records at illegal raves in Utrecht always tending to the

Artist Bio:
Arnaud Le Texier is a highly acclaimed DJ and producer in the techno scene, known for his impeccable taste and unique sound that blends Raw Techno, hard techno to deep, hypnotic grooves. With a career spanning over three decades and releases on some of the most respected labels in the industry, 

Arnaud’s career dates back to 1990 when he began managing record shops and building what is now a huge archive of knowledge, taste and musical dedication to his name. His residency at Paris’s Queen and memorable sets around the world perfected Arnaud’s DJ skills, earning him his spot in the worldwide scene where he continues to this day to be a prominent figure. 

Since 1999 Arnaud produced different EP’s & remixes for Soma, Edit Select, Children of Tomorrow, Affin, Symbolism, Materia, Cocoon, Suara just to name few. Arnaud has spent years cultivating his unique, Raw techno with trippy and hypnotic sound displaying his exceptional production skills. 

Arnaud hosts a monthly radio show on Maxximum Radio called Global Techno since 2020.
Since 2013 Arnaud is also producing with Antonio De Angelis under Detect Audio’s alias.

Arnaud is one of the true veterans of the London underground music scene. He’s been making people dance to raw techno and banging beats worldwide for many years with nothing getting in the way of his uncompromising vision for mind-expanding Techno.

10.000 BC is the new alias of .defaultbox label head Patrick. He started his new project in order to tap back into his passion of electronic music he had in over 20 years. His music is mainly focused on the essence of Techno and he has returned to his roots of playing vinyl only. Whether opening, main time or closing slot, his track selection is always tailored for the right moment.
