Hei! Jeg har gravd i låtskribleriene mine og funnet noe på norsk som jeg tenkte det kunne være verdt å vise fram. Jeg skrev denne for noen år siden og tenkte vel da at jeg aldri i verden skulle bli tøff nok til å legge ut noe på morsmålet mitt, men her er vi da. Norsk føles mye mer nakent enn engelsk, nettopp fordi det ikke er noe å gjemme seg bak. Og derfor føler jeg at denne låten har en passende tittel til å være det første jeg legger ut på nettopp norsk. Det skal sies at dette ble en veldig kjapp innspilling, men det får duge inntil videre ;) x

Merethe JM - Havet (Autumnsongs Sessions)

Merethe JM is a 30 year old singer/songwriter turned bedroom producer from Trondheim, Norway.

After making a name for herself within the local music scene with her debut single "Homeless" in 2015, which was radio listed both nationally and internationally, she has since received a talent grant from Sparebank1 SMN, a placement as a semi finalist in The International Songwriting Competition, as well as being picked as the jury joker in Norway’s biggest songwriting competition "Bandwagon".

In the following years she spent a lot of her time on studying music whilst playing concerts, participating in several music competitions as well as attending songwriting camps, but things came to a halt after the pressure of it all took a massive toll on her mental health.

Since then she’s spent a lot of time quietly building a good foundation for her career in a healthy way, all whilst stepping further into the production side of things and continuing the work of perfecting her craft.

She’s currently working on finishing up projects and aims to reclaim her place in the business both as an artist and a songwriter in the near future.
