Hello everyone
this is my very first song I've written on the guitar. It was about a year ago when I started out on the guitar.
It is part of a theme for a character that I invented for a short story of mine a few years ago.
This piece is part of my guitar journey in which I want to learn and compose/write songs as I grow on the instrument. I would really appreciate your comments. This is my first christmas piece that I wrote for the piano. It is suitable for beginners, consisting of very easy chords and melodies. 

This is the instrumental version of the song. I may also upload the version with the original lyrics later on. 

With this song I want to enter the ThomannXMas2016-Song Competition. :) I hope the fact that I am a beginner is not that important. However it turns out, I really enjoyed writing this piece and I am definitely going to play it on Christmas this year. I hope you'll all enjoy it as well as I do. 

Once this video reaches either 1000 views, 250 likes or I get over the 100 subscriber mark, I will publish the sheet music for this piece for you to play it.

Hi, I'm Lukas and I am a 27 year old student from Germany. Around 2015 I've started out with music, getting myself a piano and learning the very basics of it (learning how notes are called and how long they are, and so on).

 It was quite hard starting from scratch with 0 background knowledge and no teacher. However, as I gave myself some time I really enjoyed it and I would say that around 2016 (January) I really delved into it, adding the guitar to my arsenal.. I am playing a lot every day and really enjoy this new passion of mine. 

Late 2016 I picked up the violin as well and now try to get a firm grip of my three instruments. They are my passion and this is definitely what I enjoy doing. 

I love learning instruments, with all their individuality as well as writing songs myself. Now that I am probably at a late-beginner level I feel as if I can slowly but surely express the melodies and tunes that I have in my head. 
My goal as a musician is to produce music that actually means something, that tells a story. As long as people enjoy my music I am even more so happy to have started this hobby.

This was the very first piece I learnt from a spanish guitar course by Guitar-In-A-Nutshell.com. It is part of the first module and uses some techniqual basics.

I really enjoy the course and can highly recommend it to everyone wishing to get started with a more 'spanish' sound.

This video was recorded around the end of my first year of learning how to play the guitar as an adult learner.

Für Elise by Beethoven is my second classical piece I study on the guitar. It's a beautiful piece and I hope that you will like it.

These are among my first steps into classical fingerstyle guitar and so far I really enjoy the music and the way classical music sounds on a nylon string guitar.

Für elise consists of three individual parts and a repetition of the first part at the end of the piece to round it up. This video shows my progress on the first part.

This video was recorded at the very beginning of my second year on the guitar. I really hope you enjoyed the piece so far.

This is the first piece that I learnt after purchasing a very cool and fun course on Truefire.com in which the instructor, Tim Sparks, presents a selection of progressive fingerstyle blues pieces/songs!

These are my first steps into fingerstyle blues and so far I really enjoy the course and can recommend it to anyone out there! It starts slowly, teaching you all the tools necessary to play the pieces. That way you can also learn how to study songs.

This video was recorded at the very end of my first year, seriously studying the guitar. I really hope you enjoyed the piece so far. The end is cut since my recording gear messed up a bit at the end.

Mary Had A Little Lamb is part of my style module. I'm currently learning those simple pieces in order to practice transcribing, transposing and re-arranging. It is meant as a tool to help me grow as a musician. 

This version of mine is in the key of Am, featuring the chords Am, Em and G. It is a darker version than the happier original piece but it still fits very well the theme. This is sort of my modern rendition of the piece.

This piece is part of my suite that I wrote as a proposal for my beloved girlfriend! 
It's the 6th piece out of 7.
Since we both study languages I wanted the suite to be influenced by the various languages we are learning and the places where we've been together.

The "English Garden" (dt. 'Englischer Garten') is a place in Munich you have to visit ! It's awesome and the place we became a couple.

That's why, now that I want to ask her if she wants to become my wife, I wanted to dedicate a piece to this very moment.

Newbie getting started in music :) Started seriously in January 2016

I'm currently learning/studying the piano, guitar and violin. All my uploads are meant as a mean of reference to me.
