Fungophago is a german particle physicist. His musical career started with punk and heavy metal but he developed relatively fast a taste for drum and bass and psychedelic bass music. A friend from the black metal scene introduced him into the abstract idea of atmosphere and concept music which still has a heavy influence on his approach to making music. Music is the art of hypnotising the listener and telling a story. This is what Fungophago does.

As a project she released 5 full-lenght albums and now working on the next one. Her music is a combination of psychedelic chillout with breaks and dub.
