This live session is perfect for Hosting a house party, Sunday lounge sessions, Lunch hour unwind like music and simply a nice hour drive with family or friends.... This was at our first night at THE SIX. Great times!

What is Recs & Decks?

Over the last 20 years I've collected over 25,000 pieces of vinyl (singles and LP'S). Sure I get to play digitally for other parties in California and out of state, but sharing my collection of pressed Vinyl accompanied by tunrtablism and special guests is the goal. 

Recs & Decks is an all vinyl night geared toward great mid tempo lounge music and minimal dance grooves for the grown ear. Not that the 21 year old wont enjoy it, but this night will range from Soul, Lounge Hop, Slo-mo House, Rare Disco Bits, Folk, Rock, Funk, Mash Hop, Jazz Hop, Mid Tempo Breaks, Re-edit House, Movie Score and Familiar hits from past to present. 

The main Reason For this is as we are aging, we are producing children, moving on, seeing success and our lives are taking off. I feel we all can make time once a month to gather in communication, food, drink and music. That's why I pieced this together for you.

I've had this song on itunes for a year now it was my first song that I recorded after figuring out my sound. I love this song! It was the first song that I recorded at Studio Hazel (My One and only Studio) and the beginning of my musical evolution. Enjoy... I slept on this one for awhile now, I didn't know when exactly to release it because a little bit of time ago, it chronologically made sense to put out, but I've come to the point where it still translates well, and it gives a nice layup for the project that is coming.
